A common reason why parents let their children stop Martial Arts is because it's sometimes hard to drag them to class.
This is often not because they don't enjoy the training, but because they are doing something fun like playing computer games etc directly before leaving to come to class.
If parents let their kids come straight in from school and straight onto the electronic games etc it's incredibly difficult to drag them away to do any other activity.
Our job as instructors is to help parents with this problem.
We've been advising parents about making a "game time strategy" as a reward after children have completed their after-school activities (like martial arts).
It could help you get the children out of the house without a major battle!
