We just wanted to say an enormous thank you for the last few years, everyone. Regardless of the final outcome, with your efforts, we have stopped nearly 30 tonnes of plastic from entering the system which is an incredible achievement. 💖 What's more, we would love to advise on where to get your plastic-free goods & refills!

We are lucky to have the wonderful What Planet Are You On? & For Goodness Sake in Guisbrough & the amazing Earth Unwrapped in Northallerton who each sell many of the products we used to stock.

Oh, it’s been some journey! 💖

We’ve kept it going for as long as we can, however we’re very sorry to tell you that The Only Weigh Out will be closing as of 31st August in just over 3 weeks’ time. From now until then, everything in store is 15% off. This could be a great opportunity for you to stock up on all of your staples and cleaning refills to get you through the next few months with imminent price increases (most products will last until March 23, apart from some perishables).

We’d like to say an enormous thank you to you all for supporting us as you have from the very beginning and for joining us on this beautiful journey. 🥰 We’ve had some really great moments and memories and made some lifelong friendships and learned a whooooole lot!

Although we were off to a flying start in the first few months of trading, the combination of the pandemic, price increases & therefore a huge reduction in footfall means it is no longer sustainable to run. We know we’re not alone in this and are deeply saddened to see so many small businesses falling under - particularly seeing the imminent closure of Organically U, a long revered local independent business who’ve tried everything in their power to do something great for the world. Local small businesses are the heart of any community and we hope that this isn’t a sign of things to come.

We’re almost fully stocked of everything you’ve known and loved from us over the last few years and would be so grateful if you could take some of it off our hands so we can pay our outstanding debts and leave on a positive note. We also have the following items for sale:

- 26 six-seater picnic tables built from scratch (ideal for a bar/pub/garden) - £100 each
- Large open fronted deli fridge - £750 ono
- Upright twin fridge (glass-doors) - £200

Mary Elizabeth Webb Music is a singer/songwriter from the North East who like most, loves music from all genres (anything that makes you feel) with a particular love of pop, country, blues, rock and soul. Susan Tedeschi, Mark Knopfler, Paul Simon and Bonnie Raitt are some of her favourite artists. Her own songs are influenced by folk, pop, rock, country, soul and blues music. Mary loves telling stories through her own songs & can’t wait to share them with you.

With a versatile musical repertoire, Cam Glover caters for a broad range of musical tastes playing covers from 60s-00s through to contemporary modern songs. Well-versed with a loop pedal, Cameron incorporates baselines and drumbeats to give a one-man-band performance you don’t want to miss.

JONNY MACARONI has just returned from living in Thailand for a few years & we’re delighted he’s back! Hailing from the North East, Jonny’s interesting dynamic rock folk songs are a testament to the incredible adventures he’s had around the world. He’s a great storyteller.

We've been working hard to preserve the flavour profile of the Granary Blend you know & love, while giving this exceptional Ugandan coffee a chance to shine. By including Uganda as part of the Granary Blend's recipe, we are now able to plant more trees 🌳 give greater support to community projects & have a real tangible impact at origin.
