Just confirmed, I am back at Thornaby Pavilion tonight for the Pilates Class at 6:45pm. Been a little while since I did this class, hopefully a nice surprise for the regulars.

Starting off at 10am, find us at Ingleby Community Hall for an hour of Gentle Yoga. This class is great for beginners or those who just want to take it a bit easy. We work on movements from the ground up, plus flexibility, strength, and balance. We also have plenty of laughs along the way.

Then at 1:30pm we head over to Egglescliffe Community Centre for what is fast becoming a popular Chair Yoga class. We focus on seated movements and stretches, throw in some balance for those who are up for it, and finish off with some breathwork and meditation. No need to book, just show up.
We then turn it up a notch for the weekly session at at 5:30pm. Join us for this high energy, yoga based workout that will get you moving. Perfect for those who enjoy Crossfit, HIIT, Clubacise, or similar classes, or feel they need some mobility work after lifting heavy. This is the class you didnt know you needed.

After a busy 5 class day yesterday (just to think, I had 5 classes in the entire of November last year) it will be nice to have a relaxing 3 class day today.
Starting out with the 6th week of AMALAwellness CIC - Teesside Chair Yoga at Elmtree Community Centre at 10:30. This gentle chair based class is a great way to get your self moving. We work on stretching, breathing. and some balance for those who are up for it. Everyone works at their own level. Join us, get fit, and have a laugh at the same time.
Then this evening we have the weekly DDP YOGA class at Kismet Yoga Studio at 6pm. This yoga based workout will deffinetly make you work. 9:30am is the session. We take elements of traditional yoga, and blend it together with sports rehab techniques, some pushups & squats, and isometric movement. Your body is the only bit of kit we need. We get you stretching, building strength, and improving your balance, all whilst getting that cardio in as well in a low impact setting. Come along and give it a try, this is the class you didn't know you needed.
Then at 10:45am we chill it out and do some chair yoga. We focus on gentle chair based movement and stretches, some breathwork, and for those who are up for it, we throw in some balance. This is a great class if you struggle with standing for prolonged periods, have joint issues, or in general don't have great mobility. We will work on getting you moving.

It is Thursday, and we have a great mix of classes today.
We start off with Gentle Yoga with a Twist at 10am in Ingleby Barwick. This is a great class for those who wqnt more than Chair Yoga, but still want to take it easy. We work on moving you from the ground up, with plenty of stretches and balance along the way.
The admin team are on holiday this week, so just turn up 10mins early to register if you haven't been before.
We then take it back a notch and head to Egglescliffe Community Centre at 1:30pm for the weekly Chair Yoga class. We work on strength and flexibility from a seated position through this class, with a bit of balance for those who are up for it. No need to book, just turn up and pay.
Rounding out the day we return to for our first weekly full session. Join us at 5:30pm for this yoga based class that stretches and strengthens you, and also gets the heart rate up. If you like Crossfit, Bootcamp, HIIT, or other similar high energy workouts, or feel you need a bit more mobility after lifting, this is the class for you.
