A picture taken 30 years ago of me with Las Americas based 'LA Army' now 'Armada sur'. Mainly made up of British ex-pats from the south of the island to watch C.D. Tenerife at the Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez Stadium which is based in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.

We never actually boarded this plane it was just randomly parked up in the street in Santa Cruz so we used it as a photo opportunity.

If you are a football fan and ever stay in the south of Tenerife get in touch with Chris Todd via Armada Sur page. He still runs coach trips to every home game. I promise it will be a day out that you will never forget.

My recent visit to
Carlisle United, who have played their home games at Brunton Park since 1909.

The club's traditional kit is blue with white and red detail, whilst the badge takes elements from the city's coat of arms by including two Wyverns.
