For those of you who really know me know I love my food and although I am a Personal Trainer, I am a normal human being who gets cravings like everyone else...

So...
As of the 29th we as PT’s can take group training classes outdoors with a limited number of 30 including myself as it is classed as organised outdoor sport
With this news I’m announcing Bootcamp to start back up immediately BUT more COVID friendly and stricter rules for the sessions...
This is what is going to happen:
✅MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY @ 6pm🔻
- are going to be weight/equipment based sessions, because of the simple fact of spreading I am only doing small groups on those days - up to 5 people as you’ll have your own equipment provided without having to share
✅TUESDAY & THURSDAY @ 6pm🔻
- are going to be bodyweighted and limited numbers up to 30 with correct social distancing so we can all focus on our training
🔹The equipped sessions are going to be at Middlesbrough Sports Village car park - just on your left as you pass the houses. We will have our own space, your own personal equipment and a great session
🔹The Bodyweighted sessions are going to be back at Stewart’s Park - where we used to be on the grass. We’ve got plenty of space to play with and if anyone has been to those sessions before know we can get a tough session in
🔹Each session will be 45 minutes long and £5 per session
🔹There’s 5 sessions across the week to get to, if the demand for weighted sessions is high I may put on a second session on those nights - 1 after the other
🙌🏼Now is the time to take the step and get on your fitness journey to feel better. The light is DEFINITELY in sight but this is a good head start to get your summer body...IT ISN’T TOO LATE!!!🙌🏼

SHOULD YOU TRACK YOUR SESSIONS⁉️⁉️
In short, YES
Why??
1. PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD - is the gradual increase of stress and tension on the muscles, meaning growth and strength. To do this you can lift a little heavier per set/reps from the previous session/week, add sets/reps but keep weight the same or create more time under tension (go slower on the eccentric and concentric phase of the movement) on the same reps/sets/weight as the session before
2. It’ll keep your muscles guessing meaning it’ll help avoid plateauing.
3. You can see where you started and how far you’ve come or look back at a workout that was tough but 2 months down the line is easy.
4. KEEP YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE - knowing you’ve got certain sessions to hit (goal dependant) for that week to progress to the next week
I’ve been tracking just in this log book since November, recording every single session...it’s a healthy reminder that not all sessions / lifts are going to be better or an increase.
SO....
IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP TRACK NOT JUST OF YOUR SESSIONS BUT WEIGHT MANAGEMENT ✅
ESPECIALLY IF YOUR WANT TO HIT YOUR GOALS/TARGETS
