Proud to support Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, such an amazing local charity 🧸⭐️

Due to the effects of Covid-19 on fundraising, Zoë’s Place has been forced to reduce their opening hours and facilities available to parents. This has meant that for the first time in its history the building in Normanby is closed part of the time. This has obviously raised concern over security, and it was decided to ask local security firms to provide quotations to ensure the property was secure.

Cleveland Security, a local family run business established over 40 years, visited the site. After seeing the important support it provides to local families with children suffering from life-limiting/threatening conditions, Mike Bringloe, Business Manager, decided he wanted to help.

Mike explained “After the NHS I cannot think of a better charity to support, the lifeline this Hospice gives to the children and families on Teesside is invaluable.”

Cleveland Security’s CEO Christine Baker also got involved and they contacted suppliers to ask if they would join them in supporting the Hospice. As a result, Norbain and Texecom donated all the equipment whilst Cleveland Security decided to provide their installation costs free of charge. They also set about raising funds to cover the on-going annual costs of monitoring the system and are very grateful to Peter Drabble of The Hill Street Centre and Dean Benson of Visualsoft, that the next 6 years charges are now covered.

This very generous gesture has saved the Hospice several thousands of pounds which can now be used to provide vital care and support to our babies and families.
