Let’s see how things progresses this week but clearly Mondays bins haven’t been emptied which should mean (according to the council) bins are due to be emptied a day later this week.

If that’s correct it will mean my usual Saturday customers will be having there bins cleaned on Sunday (provided it’s not below zero)! 🥶

Hi Everyone.

I wanted to update customers with regards to getting started again now that Serco have resumed collecting wheelie bins.

As expected they are already running behind (today is Friday 20th Aug) with many estates having not been collected. I read that Bletchley was not touched yesterday & we are only a couple of day in.

With this in mind I took the decision to not start cleaning until Thursday of next week giving them a chance to catch up.

Understandably I’m receiving texts & emails saying that bins have been emptied & when am I coming?

Whilst I’d love to be out working, unfortunately I can’t come out & clean until I’m confident of a full days work as I have to think about scheduling.

Once a bin is cleaned (be it 1 or 50) It will be scheduled again for 4 weeks time & so on. This soon becomes problematic when trying to maintain consistency as I found when collections started up again after the last pause to back in March.

With luck things will have improved over the next few days & hopefully they will have caught up so that bin cleaning can restart next Thursday.

Until then please be patient & lookout for the updates from the council that are released daily on fb at the moment.
