Not tried this yet but it sounds quite nice and a good use of wasted banana skins!!! Let me know if you give it a go . Next time I make some banana bread I’ll use the skins for this curry😋 win win

So excited to announce that my energy balls will be on sale at the gorgeous new Place Eight Wellness Cafe opening this Wednesday. Have had a lovely morning sampling the different tea and coffee blends which go beautifully with my energy balls.😋😊

Just received this from one of my customers today on their skiing holiday. I’m sure my energy balls will be a welcome treat after all those ski runs!! Wish I was there too !😊

Despite being very distracted this morning by my neighbours lovely pet sheep 💕🙈I made good progress on building my website and also tried out some new recipes. So stay tuned for some exciting updates and maybe some more pictures of sheep 😂😂

Made these little boxes of energy yesterday. One was a birthday present and the other two were get well gifts for an elderly relative and for someone recovering from an operation. Energy balls can be enjoyed for all sorts of reasons to boost your energy, boost your mood , curb sugar cravings ,or simply to just enjoy 😋

Happy Mother’s Day all . Every Sunday should involve pancakes I think! It’s always our treat on a Sunday 🥞😋

Some facts about the super ingredients in my Strawberry Oat flavour:

Oats – are one of the best sources of soluble fibre, they help to lower cholesterol and leave you feeling energised for hours. Also a good source of protein. I use wholegrain organic oats.

Maple Syrup – I only use pure maple syrup in my recipes and as a natural sweetener it releases more slowly into the bloodstream than sugar preventing a spike in blood sugar levels. Pure Maple syrup also contains Manganese, an antioxidant that is important in bone and ligament formation and magnesium which is important for repair, energy production, and heart health.

Chia Seeds – contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids which are great for heart health and have five times more calcium than cows milk. They are rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatories and full of fibre which boosts digestion and helps to satisfy the appetite.

Almond & Cashew Nuts – contain healthy unsaturated fats providing energy and a source of protein and essential minerals such as manganese, potassium, iron, magnesium and zinc. Almonds also contain more vitamin E than other nuts which supports the skin, heart circulation and healthy growth.

Medjool Dates – a great source of potassium which is vital for blood pressure regulation, helps to regulate hormones in the body and promotes nerve and muscle health. Naturally sweet but have a low glycemic index so won’t cause spikes in blood sugar levels.
Freeze Dried Strawberries – have simply had the water content removed leaving behind all the natural goodness. They are 100% pure with no added preservatives or sugar. Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C and manganese and rich in antioxidants and plant compounds which again are good for heart health and blood sugar control.
