This style of dining chair is in so many UK homes. Covered in leather-effect vinyl, it wears and flakes with age and can look tatty even though the chairs themselves are still in a great condition. We re-covered a set of six in contrasting greys to complement the customer’s decor. The fabric is Ferrera in Carolina and Thunderstorm

The bottom had really fallen out of this chairs world☹️👎🏻. The new jungle themed velvet works so well to lift this into a real statement piece and gives us another very happy customer. 🥰👍🏼

We are moving from our workshop very soon and have remnants of fabric. Mostly small lengths - no more than 2 metres each.

Does anyone have a good idea where we could donate them? A local charity or college who might need them for creative fabric work?

Due to unprecedented customer demand, we are fully booked in the workshop now until the autumn and have taken the decision to close our books for the time being. Apologies to any customers who are looking for work to be done before that - we'll let you know when we are open again (likely September at the earliest).

Steve's back in the workshop this week after a nasty bout of Covid. A week out with no stand-in means that some delivery dates will be delayed - we'll be in touch with customers that it affects.

Today we’re showcasing a headboard made from scratch to our client’s specification. Covered in Ross Fabrics Noir Slub velvet, it’s opulent and decadent and perfect for any bo***ir.

Complete revamp of this wingbacked armchair which was quite badly stained and damaged on both arms. Our client picked a fabric that was close to the original material so that the chair continued to fit in with their existing decor.
We can advise you on the best fabrics for specific pieces of furniture to give you an identical look or something completely different.

We're closed today celebrating a team birthday but here's a sneak peek of a small chair that's been on the workbench this week. We stripped off the old vinyl and recovered it in gold chenille finishing with decorative nails to enhance the beautiful shape of the back and seat curve.

This armchair was in desperate need of some TLC when we discovered it for sale online a few months ago. After a complete refurbish it went to it's new home last week and the new owners are thrilled!

Burgundy buttons on Pearl velvet gives this deep buttoned Chesterfield sofa a really nice twist.
Bought in the 1970s by its owners and last recovered by myself over 25 years ago the frame shows no signs of giving up just yet. This has to be the height of recycling chic.

This fig design fabric seems to have got a lot of attention from people visiting the workshop, the accent piping that picks out the purple in the print is a really nice touch too!
