OUR STORY

Fifth C was born from the frustrations of one of our Co-Founders trying to find the perfect engagement ring for his now wife. What he and I found was that high street retailers were charging high prices for low quality diamonds full of flaws! Myself being an employee at one of these stores I went on an investigation with the suppliers. What I found was high street retailers were marking up their products by a 300% margin and their suppliers were doing the same! This meant that by the time you view the diamond ring in the shop they're looking to charge you 3-5x what they should be!

This sparked an idea for us...

What if we could cut out all the middle-men and supply high quality diamonds at a fair price? What we are now able to do through our partners is supply high quality certified diamonds for what retailers charge for non-certified low quality diamonds. All whilst creating a bespoke process which means you will never see the same ring on a different person.
