'Casanova' was the UK's first Drag King with a femme reveal. RedSarah won awards for her silly man act... now retired, 'he' delivers workshops in masc-movement & impersonation; how to walk, move, tease n strip and perform as an alter-male ego. This unique class designed especially for women participants, will bring to life the magic of Drag- why should the boys have all the fun?! Participants are encouraged to bring masc attire - think stereotype and generic as these are easier to emulate first. Our costume store will also be available for rummaging in, should you not have anything to bring along. Free light refreshments are provided and your ticket includes free entry to IDENTITY a student art exhibition in the gallery next to the theatre.

How can theatre and the arts authentically represent the diverse experiences of women and foster meaningful conversations about s*x, fertility, and femininity? Is this enough?’

We will be hosting a unique discussion panel, as part of ***rafmk where we will question the authenticity of women’s stories and experiences portrayed in theatre and the arts. We will be discussing the challenges of breaking away from stereotypical portrayals, and the role of intersectionality in ensuring that all women’s voices are heard. The discussion will also consider how these representations can challenge societal norms and encourage broader conversations about gender, identity, and the female experience.
