Get a chapstick (is it even called that anymore?) from the chemist (it looks like a clear lipstick) and get one that has an SPF in it.
Just pop it over your brows everyday and it will protect them against the sun and make them last longer!

Nothing to do with eyebrows, BUT what is your favourite beauty product?
I want to share this with you in case you have never seen it or used it
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! (I do not sell it by the way)
I am a sun worshiper and have been since I was a teen, BUT, as soon as I got to mid 40's, I started to see the damage the sun had done 🙈
So, yes I still use sunbeds sometimes and I sit in the sun, but I either cover my face (sunbed, not while I am sitting in a deckchair 🤣), and I use an SPF50 every day, but I use this product to give me a glow.
It says to mix into your moisteriser, but I use a little bit neat once or twice a week - AMAZING STUFF, and people always comment how healthy I look.
Its organic (even better) and sells for £26 (it lasts ages)

I am so lucky to have lovely clients - I am also very proud of my 5* reviews that I have as well.
This is one of them .....
Running your own business is hard, especially in a cost of living crisis with the media constantly telling us that "nobody has any money"!
Social Media is a big part of people being able to even know who you are, so if you are seeing me for the first time, then this is working!!
I am really bad with social media, I am not consistent and I want to really change this to see if consistency really does work.
I have made a promise to myself (we all know how important it is not to let yourself down), to be consistent on SM and post every single day.
I won't lie though, it does make it easier if I have people who are happy to help me. Just sharing posts with friends that you think would be interested in my services will make a difference.
What I would really like to know is ....Do you know me?, have you come across my services before? If you comment below whether you do or not, it will help to show my posts to others as well. Hopefully (for me, I don't know about you 🤣), this will be the first of many posts you are going to see 😀

How did it all start?
I used to have a “proper job”! - from the age of 16 to gone 40, I was a civil servant - a nice, safe job, but as with a lot of jobs, a lot of office politics & rules etc. I moved from London with my family to Milton Keynes in 2001 and not long after was promoted which meant I needed to work in central London full time. I found the commuting 5 days a week, combined with looking after 4 kids, a husband and a dog & a couple of cats, quite challenging. In the end, I was that unhappyI handed in my promotion and took a job as a PA in Dunstable, but still within the Civil Service - I was now £7000 a year down but a lot closer to home. I was aware that I needed to find a way to cover the money that I had lost by making this mad decision (as many people told me!) and quite by chance came across a direct selling company called Virgin Vie Cosmetics - somehow from picking up a catalogue, I found myself joining up and selling the most beautiful products at home parties on a part time basis. Suddenly I realised I had found a job that I really enjoyed, with some really lovely people. Bit by bit, I built my experience and a team and much to my husbands shock, left the “safe job” and worked as a “Virgin” full time. The rewards were amazing, and I had many fantastic trips that were paid for by the company, Hong Kong, Miami and the Bahamas, Monte Carlo for lunch - such nice memories - but when the credit crunch hit is 2008, it all came crashing down.
For a while I don’t think I could have got any lower, there was no money coming in and I couldn’t see a way forward. Quite by chance, one of my daughters gave me a book call “The Secret” and I truly believe that this book changed everything for me.
I had learned how to do lashes a few months before, but hadn’t really done anything with it (it was soooo hard!) but I decided that to make money (and pay the mortgage), I needed to do something pretty damn quick, so lashes it was. In those days (2008) hardly anyone had heard of eyelash extensions and women’s expectations were so low, they were grateful to see anything longer than their own lashes (which was great for me as I really wasn’t very good in the beginning). Because of my days in party plan, I had met hundreds and hundreds of women, so I contacted everyone and told them about my new venture and that I could give them beautiful lashes for just £20 (!!!) and so it started.
I was very fortunate in that we had already converted the garage a few years before, so I had somewhere to work and I had women in droves coming to try these “new eyelashes”. I very quickly realised that I needed more training, so after having some one to one training with AH Frances, I set about putting my prices up a bit (scary, I thought they would stop coming, but they didn’t) and continued in building my experience. I did lashes morning, noon and night, 7 days a week - I even dreamt about doing lashes! - very quickly, I built up a good reputation and a hell of a lot of experience, and soon it became clear that I could not cope with all the business that I had (what an amazing situation to be in!). Thats when I was able to train other people that I knew to do this and I was able to virtually give them a client base. I am very proud to say that I have trained many of the very successful lash technicians in Milton Keynes and many are still running thriving businesses!
