The first of our Chariots of Fire virtual runners are keen (they got out before the rain here & hopefully in better weather in Germany !).
We still have a handful of spaces if anyone fancies a medal featuring a reminting of 1924 Olympic medal on the 100th anniversary of the games as featured in the film Chariots of Fire.
If you do want a shot at this simply PayPal £16 to [email protected] go run a 5km - let us know how you get on & we’ll pop your medal in the post.
Best of luck on your runs.🦊
A few people have asked about our Chariots of Fire Olympic medals
We are happy to make these available as a virtual event - drop me a line if you wish to run virtually.
We will also have a few available at our December Deja Vu event giving you a final chance to lay your hands on this one off medal.

Good morning
Here ae your Chariots of Fire 100th anniversary event race instructions
Please collect your race numbers from the gazebo behind the car park, race registration will open at 8.45 am on each day & close at 9.15am At 9.20 we will walk to the start line. 9.30am start.
Car parking is free, there will be two portable toilets on site for your use. The pub opens at 11am.
Please ensure your number is displayed on your front so it’s visible for lap counting purposes,
The route will be our clockwise route so a short section followed by 7 full laps for the marathon & the Half will run the same starting section followed by 3 full laps & an out & back to finish - the turn around point will be marked.
For the half the start will be identical followed by 3 full laps. At the end of the 3 full laps you continue until you see the turn pint sign (also marked with two “O” s in flour on the round) You will then turn 180 degrees & return to the finish flag for your 13.1 miles.
The route will be marked on the ground with Flour.
Water will be provided in sealed 500 ml bottles on the water table for you to help yourself too. If you wish to leave personal drinks here please feel free to do so, but please leave me half the table for the sealed bottles.
Bags can be left at your own risk around the gazebo area, but not in the gazebo, we just don't have space & don't want to tripping over them. In the event of rain (a bin liner is a great bit of kit). The car park is just a few yards off the course too.
Please ensure your number is worn on your front to ensure we tick you off for the correct number of laps.
We are guests of both the Caldecotte Bar & grill (MK7 8HP) & the parks trust. The park is an open park & there will be members of the public fishing, cycling, walking their dogs etc .. please be courteous to them so we can all enjoy the park & please don’t litter, a bin liner will be provided at the aid station & a green round bin shortly after (100 Yards ?).
