Queen's Market Morecambe Community Interest Company
A community project which intends to Enable Ambitious Opportunities and grow the talent of the town
Don't forget to come down on Saturday and share your memories of Crystal T's. Without your stories, we can't start the future project of "Crystal T's - the movie"
Let's rebuild Morecambe's future with stories of the past.
In the words of Lukas Bigmans Butcher and Deli
"Nick Smith you are shining star. You have made my Christmas Dream come true."
Everyone welcome this Saturday to the reimagined Bigmans Butcher and Deli (ribbon cutting at 10.30 and sample tasting throughout the day)
Also pop into Queen's Market Morecambe Community Interest Company to see how the project is getting along (bring along festive memories of Crystal T's for the living archive)
Did the elf make the shelf for me this Christmas
It was not this elf but the one next door
Watch this space something big happening next Saturday (9th December)

REALLY DISSAPPOINTED not to have won the Β£10,000 Pots of Possibility fund.
It would have kick started the exciting journey of Queen's Market and started to make a real difference to the local community by giving them self belief that anything is possible.
I still believe in this project and it will make a difference.
It just might take a lot longer and be more complicated as the funding was needed to fund into other organisations, such as Stanley's community centre, as they have the expertise to work with the young people who may be forgotten by the system.
I will not give up on my dream of making your dreams come true.
Please consider helping us out on Saturday by registering and coming along to vote for QMM's first community project alongside being able to vote for 3 other community projects in the local area (details can be found here -
https://foodfutures.org.uk/your-pots-projects/
Just a few hours of your time to listen to the 3minute pitches, have a brew and talk to those projects pitching for the funds. Then a chance to use 4 votes for your favourite projects.
QMM intend to use the grant to kickstart their first project, using the fund to invest in other groups in the local community, such as Stanley's, to undertake the project -building, enabling and empowering.

If you can possibly give us a few hours of your time to come along, listen to the pitches of 11 local projects and then cast your 4 votes for your favourite ones. Voting for Queen's Market Morecambe will kick start our work in the community.
What will it mean to us?
If we get this initial Β£10,000 funding, it will mean we can get a project started -working with young people to reuse and recycle reclaimed materials to design/make furniture for our community spaces.
FREE TO ATTEND BUT YOU MUST PLEASE REGISTER TO ATTEND
