Job Vacancy: Fish Frier & Shift Supervisor 🐟🍟

Are you passionate about cooking delicious fish and chips? We are looking for a skilled fish frier to join our team at Westgate Fish & Chips in Morecambe.

🕒 25-40 hours per week
💰 Competitive rates of pay and flexible working hours
👨🏼‍🍳 Top of the range equipment and working environment!

Responsibilities:
- Frying Fish & Chips and supervising of the team
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Assisting with food preparation and customer service

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a fish frier/chef preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and eagerness to learn

Jamie has been with us since early 2012 and moved to Westgate when we opened here in November 2019. He takes great pride in maintaining the standards we set for food quality, service and cleanliness. He’s a huge asset to our business and here is just a sign of our appreciation for him!

Over the weekend we picked up the keys to our 3rd shop - Priory Place in Ulverston!

We are absolutely delighted to be expanding our business and becoming a part of another fantastic community.

15 years of hard work has got us to where we are today and we can’t thank our teams and our customers enough!

Our new Chef will work alongside our team of Friers to help develop our menu and continue to produce food of the highest quality to our customers. They will also be working with state of the art brand new equipment to make cooking much more efficient and enjoyable. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Following on from opening our doors at Packet Bridge Fish & Chips we’ve made the decision to do the same down here at Westgate 🐟 🍟

After almost two years after closing our doors and reopening with our collection drawer it’s time to welcome you back inside. Since opening in November 2019 we’ve only had customers in the shop for 4 months! We can’t wait to welcome you back inside to see our beautiful shop!

The Click & Collect system will remain and take priority - we urge all of our customers to continue to use it to reduce queues and waiting times. We still have our self service kiosk outside for anyone who would like to order fast & efficiently by card too!

We want to thank all of our customers for your loyal support since opening our doors - without it we wouldn’t have made it through such a difficult period…
