Onward to the semis for Malik! Malik picks up his third win in as many days, this time stopping his opponent via TKO to advance to the semifinals tomorrow. What a streak of performances and he's got everything he needs to go all the way. Unfortunately it was a tight decision loss for Charlie, but what a performance against the reigning World and European champion. It really could have gone either way with Charlie landing the better strikes and looking rock solid in his defense, not letting the dangerous Ukrainian get any of his offense away. The judges went the other way but Charlie showed he is just as good as the current best guy in the world, and there's still so much more to come from him. Submission win over a tough opponent for Harry Edwards last night, winning the British Fighting Championship amateur featherweight title in the process. 🏆 Nobody deserves it more. Harry is such a hard grafter who has gone in against the best amateurs around and grown from the experience. 📈 So pleased that his hard work has come to fruition with this great title win. Some great moments last night, including a quick trip on Hawthorn Airlines ✈️ 3-0 for the team at Combat Challenge MMA, with three first-round finishes. Impressive 8-second KO from Theo in his debut. First-round submission for Tommy, showing how well-rounded his skill set is. First-round submission for Furqan, blitzing an experienced opponent with strikes before snatching the submission. Different circumstances for each of the guys that made these wins important to them. Proud of how they handled themselves as always 🙌
