This is the difference between a power chewer and a regular chewer 😅 The one stripped within an inch of its life is Ziyka's, the almost fully intact deer leg is Flame's... They have had these, and been chewing on them non stop, for the same amount of time!!

Bailey's is the same as Ziyka's too 🙈 This is why my toys and treats cater to those who should be part of a pride of lions 🤣

Hopefully this will post as Facebook hasn't let me post anything, or reply to messages for the last week or so 🙈 There was a new update for the business page app yesterday, so paws crossed it has fixed my issues I've been having 🤞🏻

A trip to McDonald's... A detour and over £100 later 🤣🙈

Today I called into Northumbria Pets to see their stock, introduce myself and treat the pooches 🥰

We have Ostrich legs, hairy deer legs and a few other bits which I can't remember what they are 🤪

If these don't satisfy the power chewers (aka Ziyka) I don't know what else will lol. Also the derp faces on these two are ridiculous 😂 xx

Rawhide comes in all shapes and colours now. Please, if your not sure, make sure you check the ingredients before you buy anything! Rawhide is NOT a dog treat, it is evil! Xx

The garden is finally done for winter. Come spring we will tidy the edges, lay the paving properly etc. But for now we are mud free, and it's safe and fully enclosed for the dogs to play in freely 🥰 I love it already xx

Sometimes our days just don't go as planned 😅🙈

We are having a few days off from meet and greets, just to relax and heal, but will be back at it at the weekend.

Sometimes, no matter our hopes and good intentions, dogs and their personalities, just like ourselves, can clash 🤷🏻‍♀️ and that's life!

All we do is bandage up and get back on with it all 🤣

We are absolutely fine, maybe a few stitches here and there lol, but no ones fault 🥰 xx

Bon voyage little Chippy ✈️🐾

Chip's lived with us for a couple of months now, but today is his final day here 💙 From expecting to stay with us for a few weeks, to potentially 4 month 😅 His UK holiday has come to an end.

Chip's originally from Dubai, his family moved back to the UK and brought him over with them, then after a year of horrid British weather they decided to move back to Dubai, and I honestly don't blame them 🤪 When they moved back in August, we were just waiting for a travel date for Chip, but after getting told repeatedly it's too hot for him to travel (despite temperature controlled airports, planes and taxis 🤷🏻‍♀️) his stay extended with us, almost to resident status 🤣

He's a tiny chunk with a HUGE personality, and he will be very much missed 🥰 well, minus the snoring 😂 🙈 Hopefully we will get the odd update, a Chupdate if you will 🤣🤣 But regardless we wish him the best of luck living his life as a Dubai Prince.

It's been a pleasure of ours to have taken care of him, and we are extremely grateful for his owners to entrust us so much in such a long stay 🥰

Devestated to hear the gorgeous Brody has crossed Rainbow Bridge 😪But he has become the best mascot for the Flat Coated Retriever breed 🌈

He first came to me back in 2019 and immediately made himself at home 🥰 He was such a happy boy, always smiling and dancing 🤣 He got on fantastic with every dog that came through our doors 🐾

Our hearts go out to Brody's family, he will be deeply missed. Say hello to Myla for us Brody ❤️‍🩹 xx

Sad to say today is Brooke's last day living here 😢 For what was initially meant to be a week or two, ended up a year and a half 🤣 But I wouldn't have had it any other way 🥰

To say she's been a huge help with the dog's is a massive understatement! Most mornings she's been up 6:30/7am and fed your pooches, let them out, cleaned up the accidents, she helped me take them to the paddock, snuggled with them on the sofa and even had a few crash out on her bed 🤣🥰

Brooke has helped me so much with the business, she treat every single one of your furbabies like they were her own, and for that I am forever grateful 💕🐾

I wish her and her partner Jack, and of course Ginger, all the very best for starting their lives together in their new home 🏡

We will definitely miss her 🥹 Love you Brooke xx

Today was Ginger's last day here and last group photo as a resident boarder 🧡

Ginger definitely didn't want to be a resident boarder 😅 and made it 100% clear at times to most 🤣 But when she did want to join in, she made the very most of it 🥰

It's fair to say out of all the dog's that's passed through the doors here at The Big Dog Boarder, she by far had the biggest attitude and the biggest voice, despite being the smallest 😂

🏡 We potentially have a moving date 🤞🏻

If all goes to plan we could be moving this Thursday 12th 😁

Once we are in and settled, all our current customers and their dog's will be invited up. This will give the dog's chance to associate me and Michael, Ziyka and Bailey with the new property, before their next stay 🥰

All current customers will have the opportunity to book their dog in for another trial night at the new property too 🐾👍🏻

Then we will be arranging meet and greets and trial nights for November and December 🐶

Tonight we have Mia the Fluffweiler (long haired Rottweiler) here for her trial night, isn't she adorable 😍

She is extremely well socialised 🐾 not surprising since she is the main attraction at Rosie's Place Dog Daycare 😉 a daycare run by her mam.

Mia and Bailey have hit it off, immediately becoming the best of play buddies. Ziyka likes to shower her in kisses and has already tried to cuddle up with her on the sofa 🥰 xx

New Era Rotties

🚫 XL Bully Ban

I have just been informed of the new ban coming into play at the end of the year!!!

I really hope they make it 100% clear on the definitions as what constitutes as an 'XL Bully', as I fear too many pets will fall into the 'bully' category 😪

If anyone ownes one or knows someone who does, PLEASE get a jump on their training, and start the process of getting them assessed‼️ Get them spayed/Neutered asap and start muzzle training now!

I highly recommended Voodoo K9 Academy for training. Please if you have a bully type breed, get them booked in ASAP and use these last few months to get on top of any and ALL behavioural issues whilst you can ❤️‍🩹

This isn't going to be an easy ride, and my heart goes out to any bully owners xx

I took Bailey to the vets for a fuss and some treats 🍬 Nothing else done, just a trip to make the vets as positive a place as possible for him 🥰 He is a super healthy 44.5kg, not as heavy as I was expecting mind 😅 as he's a lot of dog lol, but healthy and that's all that matters!

The receptionists as always were fantastic, really going out their way to make him comfortable and happy 💙 Even 2 of the vets gave him a fuss whilst on their dinner break, how wonderful is that 🥰

He had a walk into one of the rooms, through the nurses station and out a different vet room. He was super and no anxiety at all 🐾 This gives me so much confidence for his booster which is due in a few month. If he wasn't comfortable, it would have gave me plenty time to work on him, but he was perfect.

As always I can't thank the staff at Vets4Pets South Shields enough 💞 They have always gone above and beyond for my pets, especially with having large 'status' breed dogs.

I'm absolutely devestated to have to change vets with moving house. As they have been a rock for Myla out passed on Rottie, and Ziyka our Doberman xx
