A great day on Saturday, thanks for joining in with Cambois Hidden Depths with The Tute supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund Northumberland County Council Arts Council England
Pupils from Cambois Primary School have been working on the next stage of Cambois Hidden Depths, an exciting partnership between The Tute and November Club.
Working with writer, Hilary Elder, pupils in year 5/6 have been using items they found on an archeological dig with Barry Mead a couple of weeks ago, as a springboard for producing poetry and creative writing.
Pupils are working with various artists to explore the history of Cambois in creative ways. Their work will be featured as part of the final presentation on 27 and 28 September around Cambois and North Blyth.
More details to come!

It's volunteer week 🥳
A HUGE thank you to our wonderful walk volunteers who always show up with such enthusiasm and a smile on their face. Our walks take us all across Northumberland and we're grateful for your time and support.
If anyone would be interested in becoming a walk volunteer we'd love to hear from you. We only walk twice a year so this is not a major time commitment. Our walks are led by members of staff, but we need additional help to keep the walkers safe. You don't need to be a fitness fanatic, just fit and healthy enough to walk a maximum of 9 miles, although walks are usually much shorter than this. Full training will be provided.
Please send a message via social media if this is of interest to you.

Our Story
November Club are storytellers of people and place.
Sharing memories, hopes and dreams is part of what we do. Weaving together historical and contemporary themes, our work is always made in collaboration with local people whose own tales become a central part of our work.
In the beginning, we visit the place where we will make the work; listening and talking to people, collating their stories and memories and delving through archives. We continue to visit, revisit and collaborate with these people right up to the final performance, where many will take part.
Performances (and projects) are held in the places where they were created, always outside of traditional theatre settings, and feature a mixture of professional cast and local talent. Recently our work has been presented at National Trust Wallington (Cambo, Northumberland), The Literary and Philosophical Society (Newcastle), The Northern Poetry Library (Morpeth), in a horse wagon travelling to villages across South East Northumberland and on the streets of Berwick upon Tweed.
We bring stories of local history, hopes and pride to life. We bring communities together; creating memorable shared experiences, exploring new ideas, meeting new people and most importantly, making new fun.
We are based in Northumberland and much of our work is made and shown in the region. We work indoors and outdoors. Wherever we work, people from local communities get involved
November Club is led Cinzia Hardy, working with an artistic team including theatre designer and artist Imogen Cloët and singer, composer and musician Katie Doherty. Our participation producer Sarah Hudson works closely with local communities throughout the lifespan of each project. We also collaborate with a group of associate performers, dramaturges, choreographers, musicians and artists - and local people - to create the finished work.
