What an AMAZING weekend we’ve had here at Brinkburn celebrating Laura & Sean’s wedding ✨

The couple checked in on Thursday to extend their weekend celebrations, having a relaxing night before friends and family joined them on the Friday to gather before the big day itself ✨

The wedding day itself had so many different elements which definitely brought the PARTY to the day, such as the gospel choir for their ceremony & reception drinks, to during their wedding breakfast, following onto cocktail hour before heading into the PARTY ROOM which was transformed by & for the evening entertainment ✨

On Sunday friends and family gathered for pie and chips before heading off on Monday ✨

FLOWER ARCH ✨

I am in love with the details of the flower arch outside The Priory. What I love about flower arches is the fact you can reuse them (swipe to see) ✨

After Daisy & Jonnys portraits whilst they were inside the tipi having their wedding breakfast the team moved the flower arch outside The Party Room so it could be admired EVEN MORE as guests go in and out to dance and gather ✨

As well as the flower arch, the meadows were also moved and utilised in front of the top table which created the perfect feature as guests entered the tipi along with the floating flower cloud above ✨

SUNSET 🌅

As the sun starts to go in during our summer months it usually ties in when your wedding breakfast is finishing meaning you can nip off with your photographer and get some intimate sunset pictures ✨

We are so lucky to be tucked away in the valley getting the very best of the sun all day and evening in all of our tranquil spaces ✨

Once you arrive back with your guests the venue is transformed ready for your evening to dance and celebrate 🪩✨

BRIONY & MATT ✨

The first of our April weddings here at Brinkburn and what a lovely few days it was. Matt, Briony, friends and family arrived on Tuesday afternoon to do some DIY set up in the tipi followed by a few drinks in our Stables accommodation before the wedding day itself. ✨

April showers certainly arrived but it made the day even more memorable than it was already set to be, with guests gathering in our garden room for welcome drinks, before their ceremony followed by a PROSECCO TOWER to kickstart reception drinks ✨

Evening entertainment from certainly got the guests up dancing on the dance floor throughout the evening for the party 🪩

THE BARN ✨

We are so excited to finally be unveiling our new space, THE BARN ✨

We have been working behind the scenes at Brinkburn to create the perfect space to relax, restore and gather for all things retreats/work shops/yoga classes ✨

Come along THIS WEEKEND open house between 11am-2pm Saturday & Sunday to see our new space, join in on some of our free taster sessions and to meet lots of new people ✨

As well as this we have our WEDDING OPEN WEEKEND at the venue for couples to come and explore the grounds and meet our fabulous events team ✨

AMY & SAM (part 2) ✨

I am obsessed with these photos from the fabulous from Amy & Sam’s wedding here at Brinkburn, I can’t believe it’s been nearly two weeks!! ✨

The sword entrance is everything, followed by The New York Brass Band chaperoning guests to the confetti area before playing throughout their reception drinks. ✨

Amy & Sam did have a champagne tower of 30 but after a few too many this was knocked during, which created the funniest moment before their first dance in our garden room ✨

AMY & ANDREW 🐣✨

Amy & Andrew celebrated their wedding here with us over a 4 day weekend, checking in on Good Friday, followed by their wedding on Saturday, then spending Easter Sunday cooking a full roast in our Stables accommodation for the remaining friends and family that stayed before checking out this bank holiday Monday ✨

I absolutely loved the theme, which was a burnt orange mixed with dried flowers and lots of pampas which looked beautiful here at Brinkburn ✨

We are so excited we are into April and look forward to the weddings this month ✨

NATIONAL FLOWER DAY 💐🌼🌸🌷

The florals here at Brinkburn are absolutely spectacular and the amazing florists that come through our gates are so so so talented ✨

Whether it is your elegant green and white bouquet, our your pop of colour table centerpieces, we love that you can add a personal touch to your wedding using flowers displaying your colour scheme throughout your day ✨

HELLO SPRING 💐

The flowers are certainly starting to bloom here at Brinkburn and we love seeing the pops up colour starting to creep through ✨

The river terrace is the perfect space for your guests to gather for welcome drinks and reception drinks, accompanied with your favourite musician feasting on your canapés before your wedding breakfast ✨

DAISY & JONNY ✨

Such a gorgeous weekend here for Daisy and Jonny at Brinkburn. The weekend started with pizza on the Friday evening before the wedding day itself, where the sun came out meaning .violinist could play reception drinks out on our river terrace whilst guests gathered and mingled together ✨

The floral decorations tied perfectly with the upcoming season of spring and also a daisy for a daisy 🌼

To top it off, the evening entertainment was a ceilidh band which definitely got all of the guests up dancing throughout the night ✨

THE GROUNDS 🍃✨

One thing I always overlook when going through photo albums is the pictures of the grounds, I’m too busy looking at our beautiful couples ✨

The perfect mixture of modern/old exterior and interior with our Stables accommodation still having the original brickwork, to the 12th century Priory building holding the original stained glass windows. Combine this with our modern looking Garden Room and our magically lit tipi, Brinkburn really has it all ✨

KATE & AARON ✨

What a fantastic wedding to kick start our 2024 season off. A gorgeous priory ceremony, followed by reception drinks in our Green Room with the fire roaring before the guests made their way into the tipi for their wedding breakfast ✨

During the wedding breakfast a surprise visit from before their first dance outside with the festoons lighting the venue up ✨

Of course, Whisky the red lab was involved in the day and she was soooooo well behaved and even joined in the dancing during the singing waiters ✨

THE GREEN ROOM🍃✨

Are you looking for an intimate winter wedding between November and February? The green room is the perfect space to gather ✨

Your ceremony between 20-40 guests will take place in our tranquil space, followed by reception drinks in our snug and dining room with the log burner crackling away. All whilst the Brinkburn team are transforming your ceremony room into your dining area ready for your wedding breakfast to be served, whether you’d like multiple circular tables, a banquet table or a horse shoe table the team can do it all to make the room YOUR OWN ✨

Once your wedding breakfast takes place the space can then be transformed into a party room for the evening entertainment to commence, or the room can stay exactly how it is for your friends and family to gather and chat about the fantastic memories that have been made at Brinkburn ✨

We have a GREEN ROOM OPEN WEEKEND on the 18th & 19th May where we will set this room ready for your wedding breakfast so you can envision and start to plan your winter wedding with us ✨

September 2023 was the weekend of Charlotte & Rob’s wedding here at Brinkburn and how beautiful was it? The sun definitely came out with the weather rising to 28 degrees! ✨

All of the personal touches from the table plan, the whiskey bottle centrepieces definitely tied into the Scottish theme 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✨

The last bank holiday of 2023 we held Claire & Rory’s wedding here at Brinkburn and what a weekend it was ✨

Both Claire and Rory arrived on the Friday and self catered themselves inside our stables accommodation with friends and family before the wedding day itself. The wedding day was full of laughter and memories with friends and family before they headed out on the Sunday. ✨

We love the fact our couples are able to relax on the Sunday, making Brinkburn their own reminiscing on the fabulous day beforehand ✨
