The Gardens, Nursery and Tea Rooms are now open every Thur, Fri and Sat from 12:00 - 16:30. Now open for the season! Entry is free to RHS card holder members.
Set within the picturesque Northumbrian countryside, Bide-A-Wee cottage garden is a unique garden created from a sandstone quarry. We have many unusual perennials and the National Collection of Centaurea. During the season (April to August) a wide range of perennials, ferns and shrubs are available direct from the Nursery shop. The Trilliums are here ! Sounding more like an alien from another planet, these woodland beauties have an amazing delicate appearance. Taking 5 years to fully develop.
