What a month it has been! From light switch ons around Lanarkshire to Princes Square to so many fun and festive concerts, we’ve had the best time!

While we're celebrating 10th's, 2023 is the 10th Anniversary of our performance at the opening of the OVO Hydro! 🌟🎶
A decade ago, this was the biggest gig we had ever had, beating even Rod Stewart to the stage by performing at the VIP launch a few days before! We were told back then that this was an achievement we would never top, but look at where our journey has taken us!

💥 Join the revolution as the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival returns from 4-22 October 2023!

This year the festival explores the theme of ‘revolution’ – confronting the impact of economic barriers and social inequality on our mental health, and asking ‘how we can do things differently?’.

The theme will be brought vividly to life through a diverse, multi-arts programme spanning music, film, theatre, art, discussion, creative workshops and more, with events taking place right across Scotland, including SoundSational's Sing Out! workshops and concert 🎶

In partnership with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, SoundSational are hosting a series of 𝐹𝑅𝐸𝐸 singing and wellbeing workshops. They are an introduction to a range of techniques that can be used to combat anxiety, depression, and daily stressors and are open to everyone of all abilities with no musical experience necessary! 🎶

Featuring stretching and movement, deep breathing and mindfulness exercises, and group singing, these fun and engaging workshops will help you find the confidence to sing out and also spotlight guest speakers discussing their lived experience using music in their mental health recovery and how they continue to engage to maintain their mental health!
The project ends with a choral performance with the award-winning SoundSational Community Choir where all participants of Sing Out!’s workshops will be invited to join them to perform the pieces they learn! 🌟
