It has been horrible not being able to make orders and share the pictures this year so I can only hope 2024 is a far more productive one!

My diary is now open for 2024 but orders will be limited for the time being so please get in touch early.

As for my recovery lets just say that surgery round 3 is looking likely but that may be some time in the future so for now I am focused on getting this wrist moving and looking forward to creating some lovely cakes again. X

Surgery is coming!

After waiting weeks/months to get a surgery date I finally know when it is happening and can plan ahead. This year has been a challenging one and I can only hope 2024 is less painful!

I am able to take orders for this month only and after that I am closed for the forseeable.

Double digits for my own baby boy!

My daughters cake that was over 2 months late. This was a joint effort whilst I only really had one hand and definitely wasn’t what was initially planned. It also had many flaws but it was made with love, a lot of painkillers topped up with regular tea breaks. The Rolling into 8 was maybe taking the mick though…..more like crashing into my daughter turning 8 and needing surgery.

I’m sure I’ll laugh about it at some point and until then my loving daughter reminds me daily that her cake and party was 2 months late! 😂

** Reopening **

I will be doing a soft reopening in the next couple of weeks with limited orders. My wrist is still not perfect so I’ll only be taking orders for cupcakes, giant cookies or buttercream single tier cakes for the meantime. Unfortunately I won’t be taking on any celebration cakes that require a fondant finish as I don’t have the strength or flexibility in my wrist currently.

So feel free to get in touch for orders required May onwards. I will only be doing a handful of orders each week so space will be limited.
