Huge welcome to Hayley who recently joined the team in August 2024. Worked within the care sector for 15 years and now taking on the challenging role as care coordinator with Midlothian.

Please share our current Ageing Well weekly programme with family and friends. Lots of different activities for people to enjoy. Walking groups are free and most classes cost £2.

⚠️ Red Weather Warning Update ⚠️

The Met Office has issued a new Red weather warning for rain on Saturday for

This means extremely dangerous travel conditions and floodwater that could cause a danger to life will continue.

Areas likely to be affected:
🔴 Aberdeenshire
🔴 Angus

This is in addition to updated Amber warnings for rain and wind likely to affect:
🟠 Central, Tayside and Fife
🟠 Grampian
🟠 Highland
🟠 The Lothians and Scottish Borders

🟡 A Yellow warning for rain is in place for parts of Strathclyde, South West Scotland and the Lothian and Borders.

Existing warnings are still in effect.

Travel advice:
❌ Avoid any form of travel in areas covered by the Red weather warning
🚗 Expect a high risk of disruption in Amber warning areas
⛔ Don’t ignore road closure signs – they are for your safety
📍 Plan ahead and don’t travel into areas likely to be affected by the Red weather warning.
📻 Listen to media broadcasts, including radio, for updates.

Follow your local authority for the latest updates in your area via Facebook, Twitter or their website.
