Professional, affordable will writing for clients in their own home.
Our Managing Director shared some of her biggest challenges and proudest achievements on a recent podcast - here is a clip of her discussing her professional STEP qualifications. With the Will writing profession being unregulated it was even more important for Ally to stand out and ensure our clients receive the best possible advice.
We are holding our next on-line talk on the subject of 'Ways to protect your home in your will'. We have had multiple enquiries on this subject and would really love to share our expertise. Spaces are limited so register now to secure your place:
Ways to protect your home in a will Learn how to ensure your home is protected for your loved ones by including it in your will at our online event!
With the children going back to school, creating a will should be a high priority for parents. It ensures that your wishes for the care and guardianship of your children, as well as the distribution of your assets, are clearly outlined and legally recognised. Taking this important step can provide peace of mind, knowing that your loved ones will be taken care of according to your intentions.
In addition to drafting a will, it's also wise to consider other related documents, such as Lasting Powers of Attorney. These documents can help manage your affairs in case of incapacity, ensuring that your family is protected and that your wishes are respected in all circumstances.
By taking the time to prepare now, you can focus on enjoying the present moments with your children, secure in the knowledge that their future is well planned for.
Please get in touch if you would like to get these plans in place.

Why are Lasting Power of Attorney so important?
They ensure your wishes are respected and your affairs are managed according to your preferences if you become unable to make decisions for yourself. A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) allows you to appoint someone you trust to make decisions on your behalf, whether regarding your health and welfare or your property and financial matters. These legal documents can provide peace of mind, knowing that your best interests will be safeguarded, and it can prevent potential conflicts among family members during difficult times. Additionally, having an LPA in place can accelerate decision-making processes, avoiding delays and complications that might arise if no one is legally authorised to act on your behalf.

Being named as an Executor is both a significant responsibility and a privilege. The Executor has the duty to ensure that the deceased's wishes are carried out as stated in their Will. This involves a range of tasks such as locating and securing assets, paying off any debts and taxes, and distributing the remaining estate to the beneficiaries.
An Executor must also deal with legal and financial complexities, which may include Applying for Grant of Probate and maintaining clear records of all transactions. Communication is key, as the Executor must keep beneficiaries informed and manage any disputes that may arise.
Choosing an Executor should be done with care, as the role requires trustworthiness, organisational skills, and sometimes the ability to handle sensitive family dynamics with tact. Ultimately, an effective Executor can provide peace of mind to the deceased and their loved ones, ensuring that the estate is managed with integrity and respect.

Getting married is a significant milestone in life, marking the start of a new chapter filled with love, companionship, and shared dreams. Along with the joy and excitement that comes with marriage, it is also important to consider important legal matters, such as creating a will.
Creating a will is a crucial step to ensuring your assets are distributed according to your wishes. By drafting a will, you can outline how you want your property, finances, and other belongings to be handled after you are no longer here. You may also want to appoint guardians for children and specify any particular items you wish to leave to specific people. This not only provides clarity and peace of mind but also helps to prevent any potential disputes among family.
Consulting with a professional can be beneficial in ensuring that your will is properly drafted and legally binding.
