Christmas has arrived 💜🦚✨🎄💜

So there’s a story to this one ✨
My good friend had a *f * it moment which I’m sure we can all relate to! We decided to try to go copper / auburn - one of the hardest colours to perfect as there are so many different variations on the copper / red spectrum.
Swipe across to the end to see the colour we were working with, we applied one colour to the hair which we were happy with but due to the hair being bleached prior we didn’t quite see the vibrancy / gloss we were aiming for. We decided to apply another copper colour to correct this, in doing so we found the hair was then too intense and felt too red! We tried deep cleansing shampoos to try and speed up the fading process but inevitably decided we lost the love and the copper moment was over!
To reverse the process we striped the hair with a colour remover to prioritise condition, hence the yellow ginger pic 😉 and we agreed this colour was 100% not sure us 😂
I then went through the hair with piggy back highlights, this means highlighting EVERY strand of hair, this took a few hours let me say. But persistence was key and we then applied a brunette root melt into our trustworthy mushroom toner through the ends.
Moral of the story, you have to try these things, and colours don’t always go to plan but with communication things work out okay ❤️✨

Just an update for you all coming in to the salon, please don’t panic if Phoebe isn’t in! She is semi-retiring and staying home to keep her dad company. As you all know she likes to sleep all day and actually can’t stand me when I drag her up for work in the mornings. When Jason isn’t working at home she will be paying a little visit so you’ll get your snuggle pug fix! But just a disclaimer that if you don’t see her, it doesn’t mean she’s gone over the bridge 🤣🤍
However the little tart gorgeous Edgar couldn’t live without all of your attention so he will still be here!
