Shaw House
Experience learning, enjoyment and inspiration at this beautiful Elizabethan Grade I listed building
Shaw House was built in 1581 by Newbury clothier Thomas Dolman. This fine Elizabethan building was home to successive Dolman families, the flamboyant Duke of Chandos and the Andrews and Farquhar families. Shaw House then began a new life as a school for generations of local children. However in 1985 Shaw House was evacuated due to concerns about the structure of the building. Following a £6million Restoration Project you can now enjoy Shaw House!
Take a moment to Rest & Restore at Shaw House.
We invite you to enjoy a healing crystal bowl sound bath with instructor Veronika from Nourish by V, creating soothing sounds that will provide a grounding and relaxing afternoon.
This will be an outdoor event, so please bring with you a yoga mat and warm, comfortable clothes. Should there be poor weather conditions the class will be moved indoors.
