QuadraPile helical piles, Cordek heave protection and reinforcement (thanks Lemon Reinforcement) completed for a residential extension in southwest London, all accessed through an existing garage.
Our system meant that the amount of excavation and concrete could be minimised and we left the site ready for the builder to pour the combined concrete beams and slab.

We recently supplied and installed this walkway canopy for a hospital site in Cornwall.
We worked in conjunction with our client to refine the design with customised positions for the columns, lengths to suit uneven ground, customised with NHS blue finish and sized to fit the site.

We're regularly asked to install our QuadraPile helical pile foundations to support garage slabs where there are trees nearby and clay ground means that there's a risk of ground heave.

This is a typical job before the heave protection void former, reinforcing mesh and concrete are added.

We can provide engineering design, supply and installation of the piles.

Before, during and after photos of repair work on a garage which had suffered vehicle impact damage.
We installed masonry reinforcement above the openings to stabilise the cracking before demolishing and rebuilding the damaged blockwork with new render and decoration

This is a good example of an access ramp and temporary replacement door that we installed in a school back at the end of the summer.
The whole curtain wall is due to be replaced but this ramp solution was needed in the short term to enable wheelchair access.

We removed the existing door and then installed the new door and ramp within a single day.
We'll return once the wall is replaced to alter the ramp to suit the new doors - a good example of the flexibility that this system offers.

Some photos of a job that we completed in the basement of a listed building where the external retaining walls were deflecting inwards.

We installed masonry reinforcement into the brickwork walls and arches, then an arrangement of steel frames to support the deflected walls and transfer loads back to our QuadraPile helical piles which were installed through the basement floor.

The small installation equipment for QuadraPile, along with careful design of the steel and installation procedure, meant that this could all be installed in the very restricted basement space.

We managed the whole project including assessment of the problem, liaison with the conservation officer, gaining listed building consent, design, engineering, supply and installation.

This retains access to the basement space and is all removable in the future if necessary.

We were fortunate to be called recently to carry out masonry reinforcement work inside this amazing brick church.
Movement in the structure had resulted in cracking so we designed the solution which involved installing stainless steel helical reinforcing into the brick arch ceilings to restrain cracking - all hidden within the mortar joints once complete.
It's a privilege to help preserve this elaborate brickwork.

We're having a busy week - ongoing school ramp installation work in Dorset, piling for a large extension near Andover and we've just finished some piled slab foundations at a site near Newbury with a concrete pour - tight access but completed without issue thanks to Manor Mix Concrete with reinforcement from Lemon Reinforcement.

We recently installed this small access ramp for the MetOffice site in Exeter.
Using this modular steel system allowed a permanent, quick solution to eliminate the step and provide access for all.
We surveyed, designed and installed this at short notice to a tight timeframe.

It brought a smile to our faces to see that this project that we were involved with has been shortlisted for the Galvanizers Association awards. We installed QuadraPile helical screw pile foundations for the steel staircase, working with a great team including Johnathan Louth, Steel Options and GL&SS.

A recent small piling job that we sqeezed in at a property in Newbury recently using our QuadraPile system.
The builders found that the ground was fill/made ground so not suitable for traditional concrete foundations.
We provided the engineering design before installing and load testing the piles and then fitting the reinforcing mesh (thanks to Lemon Groundwork Solutions for the materials)
This resulted in minimal excavation and a quick turnaround to enable the builder to pour the concrete slab and continue with the build.

It’s great to see this garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Hospital Grounds, Chelsea finished. Only a couple of weeks ago we arrived at a bare plot to install QuadraPile foundations for the staircase and balcony structure and it’s been transformed into this beautiful garden by the amazing team since then. It's been a busy few weeks but two new compressors have arrived in our yard this afternoon, just in time to be going out on site next week for more QuadraPile helical pile foundation jobs. Thanks to Henderson European Ltd Doosan

It's great to see this stunning garden coming together. Only last week we installed the QuadraPile foundations for the steel staircase structure which is now faced in stone and brick with glass treads and cantilever balcony being installed. Big respect for the team of Tom Salmon Landscaping ltd working long days to bring to life the designs of Anne Hamilton Designs and Taina Suonio at the RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show. Can't wait to see it finished.

QuadraBuild were approached to do this small job when it was found that the existing slab in this factory was not adequate to support a new crane.
Engineering design was carried out to verify the requirements.
We then cored holes through the existing slab before installing our system.
A custom-made steel interface plate was then attached and left ready for the DALMEC crane to be installed.
This was all done whilst the factory continued to operate and we avoided the need for a large new concrete foundation which would have required the slab to be broken out.

It's great to see this "Invisible House" completed after we supplied and installed the foundations a while ago.
On a recent visit to see the finished house, we amazed by the exterior finish which is better than we ever expected could be achieved.
Sitting on our QuadraPile foundations with our patented interface steelwork, it really does blend into the surroundings and lives up to the Invisible House name.

We recently installed this modular steel ramp for a school.
This replaced a timber ramp which was beyond its useful life.
We can survey, design and install a safe and convenient access solution for most requirements from private houses to schools and commercial buildings with a non-slip, free draining surface and warm-touch handrails.

A few pictures of a recent job where we provided QuadraPile foundations plus a steel frame and mesh deck for air conditioning units outside commercial buildings.
We designed, supplied and installed the whole solution from the piled foundations to the steel and deck, ready for the air conditioning contractor to carry out their installation on top.
This used no concrete and was installed quickly with minimal disruption.

A small piling job for a residential extension.
Using the QuadraPile system vastly reduced the amount of excavation and ensures the extension is protected from potential ground heave in the future.
This job included supplying and fitting Cordek ground heave protection solutions to the bottom and side of the trenches as well as reinforcing from Lemon Groundwork Solutions.
Concrete was then poured by the builder to form the suspened beams ready for construction of the floor and walls.

A good example of the improvement in safety, accessibility and appearance that can be achieved quickly and simply using our modular ramp system.

We've been so busy over the past few months that we've neglected posting updates so here's a little job recently completed:

We were called to this property after some heavy-handed window fitting left cracked, loose brickwork.
We expect that more robust original timber windows removed and the new windows fitted without lintels, causing displacement of the bricks above.
A scheme of masonry reinforcement, new lintels, localised rebuilding and pointing by our team was used to put things right.
We'd always recommending checking the lintel arrangements prior to replacing windows, especially if old timber windows are being replaced with PVC.

A good example of a small QuadraPile job to uprate foundations which were moving due to inadequate depth with nearby trees.
QuadraPile foundations were installed with small pile caps to tie the piles into the existing foundations.
Masonry reinforcement was also installed to reinstate the integrity of the cracked walls.
A quick and clean alternative to traditional underpinning with minimal disruption to the household.

It's great to be heading back to Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conference events in a couple of weeks.
