As our busiest weeks of the year are upon us, we are in full wedding mode 🩷. We may be slightly slower on emails as we focus on August's weddings and we hope to share lots of photos of our work along the way 🥰

Last year's workshop with and focused around using sustainable mechanics in our floral designs.

We created some seriously gorgeous set-ups during the workshop using mechanics we can use time and time again but without impacting on the finished design.

This month we have started taking part in an incredibly simple but amazing initiative aimed at reducing the amount of green waste sent to landfil with .uk and

We are provided with com:post sacks which we will fill with our green flower waste. When the sacks are full, they are collected when we receive our next flower delivery from FleuraMetz.

Com:post then take this waste to their network of certified UK composters and turn the whole bag into reusable compost, then used by agricultural and horticultural growers to grow more food and flowers.

The initiative not only cuts down waste, it aims to promote composting as a sustainable alternative.

Happy 20th Birthday Sonning Flowers!

All of us downed tools this afternoon (which doesn't happen often on a Friday!) to celebrate together 🤍. The team go above and beyond, not only during peak wedding season but throughout the year, making stunning floral arrangements for all of life's occassions and I'm so proud of the whole team and what we've achieved over the years.

A truely scrumptious cake by followed by a fantastic chocolate making workshop with hit the spot! Safe to say we are truely stuffed as we roll (excuse the pun!) into the weekend!

Our 20th Birthday Range is live!

To celebrate our 20th business birthday, we have a beautiful new range of bouquets 💐

Including gift bouquets, eco-friendly living wreaths, basket arrangements which will continue to bloom over time, aswell as flower arranging workshops focused on creating sustainable designs, this new range celebrates our 20th birthday milestone and all of what Sonning Flowers is about... beautiful, fresh flowers 🤍. And as we look back over 20 years, we couldn't help but add some of our favourite memory lane roses too!

This month is a big month for us...we celebrate 20 years in business!

We are celebrating our birthday on 12th April and we've got lots planned to celebrate! Surprise gifts for customers, a new birthday range of gift bouquets and celebrations with the whole team 🙌

20 years, 3 recessions, a global pandemic, sky high inflation and an ever changing market place. It's not been an easy ride for a small business but we made it! We love what we do and feel so incredibly proud to add three little letters and four numbers to our logo, "est. 2004"

We'll be sharing more on our socials throughout April of the Sonning Flowers story and the faces behind the name so stay tuned and a big THANK YOU for being part of our story 🥰
