Beautiful little Patrick was cast today and he was the most alert little 3 week old, he loved holding on tight to the alginate but we got some lovely casts - those little foot wrinkles are too cute 🥰

Entwined casts can be tricky especially with toddlers so I’m really pleased with how this turned out. Finished beautifully in chocolate Pearl on an oak slice base.

Such a gorgeous hand hold of two brothers, the entwined don’t always turn out how you want as it requires staying still and for a 3 year old and 16 month old that’s not easy! Luckily it turned out beautifully, a small oak slice makes the perfect plinth for this cast.

I’ve seen this post doing the rounds today and I can’t be the only parent incapable of reading it without crying.

We are embarking on our Reception journey in September and I’m an emotional wreck, I’m so glad I’ve got my starting school frame so that when it is our last week of primary I will physically have how little my son’s hand was to show him and talk about. Preserving these monumental moments in time is what life casting is all about, we don’t get the time back but for me being physically able to look at it means the world.

It was a pleasure to cast the beautiful Olivia, Mummy chose gold casts in an oak frame with a white mount and it’s a beautiful, classic combination.

This is going to be my first Christmas make of the year, in a new decoration style. I can’t wait to finish it 🥰

This is why I love the wax finish, the way it picks up every detail and every little wrinkle, so beautiful. I can’t wait to get this one back to Mummy and Daddy.

When I did a cast of beautiful Lilah-Rae her parents said how much they wish that they had managed to get casts framed of her older sister.
Marnie-Rae was born in lockdown and they used a DIY kit to get casts of her. They asked if there was anything I could do and I have restored the casts ready to paint and frame with her little sister soon.

I am currently awaiting a very important appointment for my son and when that comes I will be taking time out to be with him. Due to this I do not want to release appointments too far in advance as I do not want to let anybody down.
