Karak Chai is made with black tea leaves, crushed cardamom (sometimes I use cardamom flavoured evaporated milk instead), saffron and sugar. The key ingredient for the colour and taste of Karak Tea is made with evaporated milk.

Often called Pink Tea, Kashmiri chai is a milk tea characterized by its dusty pink colour and garnishing of crushed nuts. It's brewed with green tea, milk and a variety of spices including cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon.
