Thank you to everyone for their wishes, cards, gifts. I was spoilt yesterday and had a lovely night with Sam and Alfie!!

I’m sure you will all join me in wishing her a happy birthday, I know you all know lemington just wouldn’t be the same without her ! 🤣

She’s one of a kind for sure, crazy but kind, the biggest heart but don’t mess with her or your dead 😆 Wants to save the world and its dog everyday, and if she can help, she will do everything she can and doesn’t let anything stop her!! She is brave and can also be nuts! She just wants to live a life of love and laughter.

There’s many faces of leanne but what you can guarantee is whatever the face says is what the mind is thinking, I’ve had quite a chuckle looking through pics on my phone this morning 🤣 here she is my amazing, beautiful, best mam to Alfie and most loving little peach.

Today Alfie’s grafted his arse off!! Only the two of us in and he’s really pulled it out the bag!

Nothing has phased him today, he’s made salads, coffees, drinks, iced lattes, served everyone that’s walked through the door, gave his best old man service, I forget he’s only 13 at times when I’m saying faster 😂 but today we have had none of that, he’s not even had a break, ate or moaned!!

Anyone lost any keys around our way? We are closed until Tuesday so I’ve handed them in at the shop with the lads.

Any size - they are making homemade jams, soups etc to give families in our local community a little extra!

Happy 97th Birthday Grandma 👵🏻

Today would have been our Grandmas 97th Birthday, one of the women behind our vision for our little Café, Sam and I wanted to create a place where we would either visit with our Grandma Connie or Nana Kathy, or by creating a space with endless love and laughter, just exactly how we felt going to their houses. I think we have done exactly that, creating a place with homemade food, but a space with love and laughter with our colleagues and customers. Both our Grandparents had the biggest hearts and would do anything for anyone. I know they will be proud of what we have achieved together.

Dear Grandma, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible impact you had on my life, your grace, resilience and your endless love for us and others. Your strength, kindness and daftness definitely has shaped who I am today.

Whenever we needed guidance you were there, it’s your quiet strength that flows through, you taught us life lessons that no textbook could, taught us to enjoy life to the full, life’s to short to hate people or hold grudges. (Ok I’ll work on my stubbornness 🫣) you taught us how to be feeders ( ✔️)

Your love holds no bounds, it’s the kind of love that would withstand storms, celebrates victories and remains a constant through life. You have shown me what it means to love unconditionally to embrace imperfections, forgive mistakes and cherish the moments we share.

I hope your legacy lives through me as I strive to have the same strength, warmth and kindness.
