Congrats to our sister restaurant Insa Korean grand opening yesterday 7th July 2023. With same type of idea “cook your own food on the table” in addition there is premium range of meat which including “Spanish iberico pork” and full blooded F1 wagyu beef. Hi everyone!

We have decided to close the restaurant for 2-4 weeks due to raised case of COVID19. Because we are located in a high risk area, with lots of pubs and bars surrounded. We are doing this to protect our customers as well as our staffs.

Please do keep safe and wear mask whether you’re inside buildings or outside of public. We do hope everyone do their bit to reduce the infection or this will never end and it will affect all hospitality businesses performance.

DELIVERIES AND COLLECTIONS

Hi everyone, regards on deliveries and collections, we are offering 10% discount off orders.

You can order in advance via Facebook messenger or by phone (0191 222 0288).

We have 2 delivery time slots: 18:00 and 19:30. These are the times that we start sending orders out, so please order in advance. We deliver to these areas; NE1-4 and NE8-9. Orders will take appox. 30min at minimum.

Delivery order must be at £20 minimum spend (BEFORE delivery charge of £2 and AFTER 10% discount). Free delivery applied when spending £40 and above (After discount).

We would like to update our friends and customers with regards to the latest guidance from our local city council.

As those of you who visited us more recently may aware that we test temperatures for every customers before take them to the table and we kept 1m apart for every single table, furthermore we are using disposable cutlery sets for extra protection for our customers, we changed our last order time to 9:00 instead of 10:00 in the evening.

Soju&Gogi only opened in last August, our business began to pick up since Feb this year then suddenly the virus came to “lock us down”. But we always stay positive, we do have lots of regular customer more like our friends rather than customers.

Unfortunately the second “lock down” push us into this difficult situation again. Thanks to the government’s grant and furlough so we are still surviving at this moment, but floundering. New rules, new restriction, increased positive cases. We don’t know what we are going to face in the next few weeks.

We're all in this together so let's fight to the other side and please do support your local small businesses. Alongside with table services, we are also doing takeaways and gift vouchers. We are currently in a desperate situation more than ever before. Your support is very much appreciated.
