Yesterday afternoon they performed a shortened version of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and they were outstanding. To stand on stage alongside this group of young performers was an honour and I genuinely adore each and every one of them.

You did us proud guys, you really did 💛

A HUGE well done to all of my students who received their GCSE results yesterday 💛 It filled me with so much joy to see your wonderful success and I couldn’t be prouder. After such a tough few years you DID IT! ✨

Saw this gem of a memory pop up this morning and I thought I’d share it 🌟

Six years ago (feels like six minutes ago...), I was offered a contract to work at Disneyland Paris. At the time, I also had a place at Northumbria university to gain my PGCE degree in primary education, but the choice was simple. I chose a dream and boy did it pay off. I had the most amazing time working for Disney and still to this day it is the coolest thing I have ever done ✨

So if you take anything away from this post, take this: follow your dream. Real life can wait. And if you were meant to do something else, it will be there when you come back if it is the right thing for you to do 💛 Happy Tuesday!

As the summer holidays quickly approach, I am reaching out to students who will be away from their regular vocal training during this time and would like “top up” sessions in order to retain already learned techniques and skills.

The summer holidays, whilst meant to be relaxing, can be a prime time for bad habits to emerge and for hard work to be undone. So, I am offering 6 one hour sessions at a hugely discounted price to keep you trained enough so that you aren’t playing catch up in September.

The sessions cover:

For the last few weeks, my “Sunday” has been a Monday, meaning that today is a day off and I am away from my phone.

Since being poorly all last week, I have felt an enormous amount of guilt and stress in thinking that I’ve left myself and my business down in not being present. The reality of being freelance and owning your own business is that no one can pick up the slack for you. It’s just me. So I’m taking me and putting her in a positive mindset, taking today to recharge, and then I’ll be ready to tackle the week ahead from tomorrow 💛

I’ve been feeling quite reflective over the last few days, and over that time I have put some things into perspective. I think it is important sometimes to take a step back and think about what is important in your life and what isn’t. It’s helping that life is feeling a little more normal now, and plans can start to become a reality. Hopefully this year will see some big changes to JMA 🤞🏻
