It’s Great North Run Day which, over the past couple of years, has been super quiet for us at the bakery. So weighing up running costs of the day vs people coming to visit, we’ve decided to take the opportunity for a rare Sunday off!
So if you are looking to try out the new menu this weekend make sure to pop by today (Friday 6th) or tomorrow (Saturday 7th). Open as usual the rest of September!

and her Pandan Coconut Glazed doughnuts 💚 Inspired by her favourite Balinese sweet treat - we infused coconut milk with fresh, pureed Pandan leaf, and whipped into a glaze with powdered sugar. Each one is then topped with toasted coconut and palm sugar shavings!
Now one of our favourite flavours - and we’ve had some great feedback from Pandan lovers so far ☺️
It’s our last few weeks with Sheka at the bakery before she returns home to Bali, it’s been a real privilege having her work with us at the bakery for the past year! 🥲 Who will keep us all in check now? 🤪

A few favourites returning this month! Tiramisu, made using Beija Flor espresso and cream, whipped with fresh mascarpone and chocolate pieces. And Peach & Honey Almond Cream - one of the top flavours from last Summer. Roasted peaches, peach compote, honey toasted almonds, whipped vanilla cream - all piped into a sugar rolled doughnut.

Excited to debut our new glazed ring, Summer Berry Cheesecake 💞 Mixed berry compote, whipped into a cream cheese glaze and edge coated with ginger biscuit crumb!
We’re also keeping the VEGAN GLAZED BISCOFF BUN on for the foreseeable, freshly baked and glazed each morning.

We’re looking for two people to join our doughnut making team!
Good hours (early starts but no lates, consistent set rota and days off), lots of doughnuts to eat, coffee to drink + a chance to be a part of a growing, local, family run business.
We’re looking for two people with a positive attitude, reliable, enjoy the hard work of a busy bakery and a tidy & orderly way of working.
Experience working with food/dough/baking is a must & specific doughnut training will be given.
We make every part of our doughnuts from scratch, so there is plenty of opportunity to learn about dough, jam making, custards, ice cream, Vegan doughnuts, caramels & sugar work and more!

•Every Mon & Tues off.
•10 days minimum holiday guaranteed over Christmas & New Year.

🌼 JUNE ON THE COUNTER 🌸
Starting a little early with the June menu, you can find these flavours on the counter from tomorrow (Thursday 30th May)
We have a couple of favourites back this month: Passion Fruit Chantilly and 99 Whipped Cream, we’ve been waiting for Summer to bring these back!
Plus a new glaze - Coco Pop cereal milk, topped with crunchy candied Coco Pops 🤎
It’s also our Head Baker Megan’s last full month before she goes on Maternity Leave, so we have one flavour inspired by her all time favourite chocolates - Lindor Pistachio Chocolate Truffles! A chocolate doughnut, (made using Dutch cocoa powder kneaded into the dough) filled with whipped pistachio cream ✨
We’re also really excited about this months Bostock flavour - filled with our house-made caramel sauce and whipped almond frangipane, and topped with lots of white chocolate chips and flaked almonds.
We’re also keeping Biscoff Biscuit Glaze on for another month as our Vegan flavour 😄

We fold our small batch Blueberry compote and some honey biscuit crumb (baked here at the bakery!) through mascarpone & whipped cream. All topped with more biscuit crumb and cornflowers!

We’re going all out with Strawberries this month now they’re back in season - 3 flavours feature them!
One of these being ETON MESS, one of our favourites every year, fresh strawberries macerated and folded through whipped, vanilla infused cream and topped with smashed meringue!

AND… we’re finally ready to re-introduce our VEGAN DOUGH. It’s been a long time! We’ll have a limited number of these ring doughnuts each day, we’re really proud of the dough, it’s light, fluffy, a little bit of chew, delicious! This month studded with chocolate chips and dipped in Butterscotch Frosting (all Vegan!)
