Thank you all very much for your kind comments after our closure yesterday! We are back open to regular scheduling now and hope to see you all back and cuddling with our mogs!

In light of recent news and planned protest dates this coming Saturday 10th August we are currently debating closing the cafe from 2.30pm onwards.

Anyone with current bookings are more than welcome to pop us a message and reschedule if there are any concerns about coming into Newcastle.

Today's Broken Heart 💔 is our beautiful long haired Anise and what a stunner she really is

Anise came to us pregnant from outside our area trapped by good friends of Deliverance

She is a very small and petite girl probably a year certainly no more than that

Unfortunately she got into extreme difficulty during her birth and I rushed her into Wilson's Vets in Bishop Auckland where she went on to have an emergency C section

Although we lost two babies three were born alive and have done really well they are super cute 🥰

Watching this poor cat struggling was heartbreaking for me personally lying beside her watching her trying to give birth brought me to my knees

Year after year we are watching kittens trying to give birth to kittens watching them run out of milk and us having to hand rear their babies and why ..... Because someone failed them way back when they should have been neutered and loved enough

So I'm introducing you to our beautiful Anise who has learnt to trust me and love me because I saved her life and that of her babies

It's now her turn to find her Happy Home

Please please help me 🙏 I'm tired I'm defeated myself we need homes for these broken 💔 cats and kittens and I can't do it alone

Welcome to the Mog Family - Prudence (aka Princess Pru, Pru bear and Peter’s new best mate) 😻

Some of you may know Doreen who is a cafe regular and has been weekly for many years now, so we’ve asked for her favourite feline names and little Prudence is finally here!

We’d like to kindly ask you all to give this little one some time to grow and wander around freely in the cafe, similar to the Mogs and our main house rule please don’t pick her up as she is still settling in 🐾

All of us here can’t wait to watch her grow and learn to steal, as has become an acquired skill set past down through Mog generations, we guarantee she will be a heart stealer 😹

🐈‍⬛ Second Chance Adoption Event 🐈

We can’t thank you all enough for the kindness and generosity by helping us find little kitties and older cats a new forever home, so we’re absolutely delighted to announce we’ll be hosting another adoption day! 😻

Is fostering something you’ve considered but you’re unsure about the process? Want to adopt a cat but can’t decide if your home is suitable? Come grab a coffee and cuddle some cats while chatting to to find out how you can help to give friendly felines a forever home 😻

We’ll also be acting as a donation point for the charity! All clean blankets, cat beds, unopened cat food and toys are welcome ❤️

Book anytime available on Sunday 25th August to secure a space! A portion of the entry fees for the day will also be donated to the rescue 😸

You’ll know by now we’ll have some tiny guests making an appearance and stealing your hearts 👀
