Dr Rabbitfunk used to be a radio presenter back in the late 1990’s in Russia and then turned into a dj after moving to the UK in 2001. He’s been djing around the UK ever since. Now an adopted Geordie, he is well known in Newcastle's establishments for his eclectic mix of music from hip-hop and funk to speed garage and techno via indie-dance and house. Recently, under a new alias - Den Ray- he debuted as the first resident DJ at The Eagle in Newcastle, where his “Meat Grinder” night of disco, hi-NRG, Italo and synth-pop kept the party going far into the night.
