3 members of the Countrywide House Clearance team were in Stockton, Stockton-on-Tees today carrying out a small loft insulation removal and clean leaving the customer absolutely delighted with the results.

All done in Cambridge where 3 members of the Countrywide House Clearance team have been working for 3 days recently, starting last Friday before returning Wednesday gone and finishing this Thursday removing old loft insulation and carrying out a thorough loft cleaning at a substantial sized bungalow.

The team removed 4 big van loads of insulation from the two huge lofts at the property following a massive rodent infestation caused by external factors that had damaged the insulation, caused water and wiring issues and left an awful mess up there in terms of f***s and urine.

This was a particularly challenging job as both lofts contained upwards of 5 thick layers of insulation that at some parts were level with the top of the roof. Both lofts contained general clutter and junk up there and old wooden boards that needed removed also.

Once the team removed the insulation they tackled the clean up which involved removing thousands and thousands of rodent droppings scattered all over the lofts before thoroughly hoovering out every space of the lofts, removing loose insulation fibres, dust, debris etc.

The end result was two lofts looking brand new with no trace of rodent droppings, leaving the customer delighted with what had been done ready for sealing up any rodent entry points, fixing damage done to water pumps and electrics, reboarding then re insulating.

3 of the countrywide House Clearance team were in Sunderland Tuesday carrying out a piano removal. The customer was extremely please with our quick and efficient service.

3 of the Countrywide House Clearance team were in Cambridge yesterday carrying out a loft insulation removal and clean up of a massive 4 bedroom property with an extension and two huge lofts.

The street is having drainage works being carried out by the water works company which has caused a huge rodent infestation in a few properties, and in this one they’ve made a right old mess chewing through wires and pumps leaving our poor customer without hot water among other issues.

The team removed two van loads of insulation on the day that was roof height in some areas, lots of old wood and boarding from the loft and they also removed some rubble and green waste for the customer.

After that they also carried out a partial clean up so the maintenance team can come in and fix the water issues with the pump that was originally hidden away underneath rodent infested insulation.

The team arrived at 9.00am and finished at 6.00pm and will return Wednesday and Thursday to finish the other loft out, before carrying out a thorough clean and decontamination of both lofts leaving the property free of any rodent droppings and bad odours.

Job 2 today: Following the team’s job in Oldham today they drove to Altrincham to help a customer who needed a few pieces of old insulation removed from the loft which took the team ten minutes to remove. The customer was to elderly to remove it themselves and unfortunately the company they are hiring to board it all out wouldn’t do it for them… we were only too happy to help given we were in the area!

Job 1 today: 3 of the Countrywide House Clearance team were in Greater Manchester today carrying out two jobs, first a loft insulation removal and loft clean up following a rodent infestation in Oldham, the team also had to remove wooden boards and other junk and then after that they drove a short journey to Altrincham. The team removed one van load today leaving the customer absolutely delighted with the team’s effort.

The customer had attempted to carry out the work themselves, but it got too much for them, but our team made light work of it removing one van load to leave the customer absolutely delighted with the service from the team.

The team had to remove a large quantity of wood and rubble from the loft before they could get to the rolled up insulation. The team removed one van load of insulation and will return Wednesday or Thursday to carry out a thorough clean up to remove old blown in insulation that sat underneath the rolled up insulation as well as hoovering up any dust and dirt.

Who works on a Sunday, we do! Emptying the vans at the recycling centre ready for another full on busy week all over the UK next week, starting with a visit to Bristol tomorrow, a fave City of ours.

3 of the Countrywide House Clearance team were in Conwy, Wales today carrying out a loft insulation removal and clean up job, removing blown in insulation from around the eves and underneath loft floor boards before carrying out a thorough hoover ready for a loft conversion.

That’s another successful week on the road by the team who have a short weekend before another long week all over the UK next week, starting with a job in Bristol on bank holiday Monday.

All done in Glasgow, Scotland where 3 of the Countrywide House Clearance team have been for the past 2 days removing old rodent infested rolled up loft insulation, over 50 dead rodent carcasses and general junk and waste up in 4 big, long, but extremely cramped lofts in sweltering heat from a substantial and beautiful old converted school house building.

The back breaking job also contained a thorough clean out of all the lofts to remove rodent dropping, rubble, dust, debris and loose fibres, the team carrying out a hoover up of all loft spaces and every nook and cranny.

This was a particular tough job but very rewarding for the team, a job made all the better by our amazing hosts, the owners. The wonderful couple made us many cups of coffees and teas, supplied us with fresh cold water and other refreshments throughout the two days and were a delight to talk to, engrossing us with their life stories and of course we got to meat their beautiful dog Ged.

They were easily the friendliest and nicest customers we’ve encountered in a long time who were happy for the team to work late in the evenings both days in order to do a great job for them both on time and on budget, the team mindful of not wanting to disrupt their lives any further than we had to.

The customers were so happy with the team’s work they give each of them a substantial tip and even said the next time they are in the area and if they have time, to pop in and see them which we will.

It’s jobs like this and people like our customers that make what we do worth it. The next stage for the property is to have the builders in to repair some of the internal damage to the loft ceilings and to reinstall new insulation. 3 members of the Countrywide House Clearance team were in Worcester today carrying out an unattended death in the house clearance where the deceased had sadly lay undiscovered for several days. The team had to go through the personal items to separate items for the next of kin before removing 3 van loads and then carrying out a thorough one off deep clean. The customer was absolutely amazed at our service and how quickly we cleared and cleaned the studio flat. It was a sad clearance for our team given the circumstances and having to literally go through every single item of the deceased. All done in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. 3 of the Countrywide House Clearance team were in Hull on Monday removing old loft insulation and then cleaning out the loft space in 3 separate lofts inside a lovely bungalow/chalet property. The team removed one van load and cleaned 2 of the lofts on Monday and returned today to clear the old insulation and clean out the space in the top loft. The customer was absolutely delighted with the service - they are now all ready for new insulation and boarding out.
