This spectacular dance theatre production is directed by Liv Lorent, featuring twelve extraordinary performers in stunning costumes by Libby El-Alfa and Nasir Mazhar. Retold by Carol Ann Duffy and narrated by Lindsay Duncan, with music by Murray Gold. Set design by Phil Eddolls and lighting by Malcolm Rippeth.

We’re pleased to introduce our new apprentice, Tassia Sissins, from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD). Tassia will be with us until Summer 2025 as part of her MA in Contemporary Dance Performance.
She’ll make her debut this Autumn in Snow White and Snow White: The Sacrifice at Northern Stage, Newcastle. Tickets are on sale now for the two premieres!

Since 2012, Murray Gold has been an invaluable part of the balletLORENT family, composing breathtaking scores for our productions. The classic fairy tale of Snow White is re-imagined into a savage and captivating adaptation, for audiences aged 16+.
Delving into the psyche of a desperate Queen enslaved by her own harsh reflection, a tragic story unfolds brimming with cruelty, envy, and acts of heroism. This is a woman’s dread of aging, and her battle against invisibility through enacting monstrous fantasies.
Our dance theatre production directed by Liv Lorent features twelve extraordinary performers dressed in stunning costumes by Nasir Mazhar and Libby El-Alfy. Retold by Carol Ann Duffy with music composed by Murray Gold, set within Phil Eddolls’ stage design and lit by Malcolm Rippeth.
