We’re all set up and already had some great chats with people of Newport!

Come see the LDC ladies tomorrow for a socially distanced cuppa and natter! We are creating an outdoor living room outside the Westgate in Newport town centre from 12:30pm which is part oF .NP20.

We are launching our podcast project which is based around all things Newport, giving an opportunity for the community of Newport to have their voice heard.

Bethany Seddon - Theatre Designer, Workshop Facilitator & Artist
Lauren Brown - Creative Producer
Samantha Alice Jones - Theatre Director & Facilitator

Sam, Lauren and Bethany all grew up in Newport and our lives have been entwining ever since! In 2019 we started conversations into creating our own work together putting what we care about most at the heart of our company. We wanted to create a platform for the diversity of Newport to be heard and create a supportive network to make creative outputs by and for the people of Newport.

We are Lower Dock Collective, a female-led theatre company based in Newport, South Wales.

Community is at the ❤️ of everything we do & we want to create art by real people with real stories.
