Mel has the drive to care running through her; coming from a family of Care Experts, her mum cared for 30 years’ and both her sisters are carers too. Mel joined the Worcester & Wychavon family in 2014 as a Care Expert, and at the same time her daughter joined as Lead Coordinator! 👩‍👩‍👦‍👦

Joining our Greenwich family in 2016 as a Care Supervisor after being a stay-at-home mum for 14 years, Siham’s dedication and passion shone through. She quickly progressed to Care Coordinator and now stands as Registered Care Manager, leading an office team and 58 Care Experts 🙌

Bluebird Care Isle of Wight is celebrating Carers Week 2024 💙

The week focuses on the work happening in the social care sector and explores issues and challenges faced by the sector. It aims to increase the public understanding of what it means to work in social care.

During these difficult times, care workers have been on the front line, helping to take care of the vulnerable and elderly members of our community. 3 in 4 carers feel their caring role is not understood or even valued by their community. At Bluebird Care Isle of Wight we hope to raise awareness of the care support available to carers across the local community.
