Today we have been back to Shaftesbury Carnival a carnival that we have loved going to over the last few years...
Tonight we were amazed and proud to receive not 1 but 2 cups from the carnival, the 1st cup was the most entertaining band and the 2nd cup was for the best band..
As a band we don't do what we do for winning trophies we love performing and seeing the crowd enjoy what we do but when we get recognisiion like this it means a lot to all the members.

After arriving we have watched the children carnival and now time to Look around Shaftesbury before we take part in the band parade at 6pm and carnival at 7.15pm.

2nd of our mainland carnivals of the year, today we heading to Shaftesbury and taking part in Shaftesbury Carnival .. we will be taking part in the band parade at. 6.pm and the Illuminated carnival at 7.15pm.

As people say a bit of rain hurts no-one but today at Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show the show went on for us... After we started in the dry it tipped it down with rain....

We would like to personally thank all the members who today went out and played for the band and got well and truly wet 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️

Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show this morning in the dry as we started.... However it didn't stay that way for long as torrential rain, thunder and lightning soon arrived ⛅⚡⛈️🥁🎺🎵🎶🚗🚘

Come on down to Ryde today and see the Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show..
We will be performing from 10am along the route of all the classic car's

After a busy week last week we have had time to catch up with lots of the photos that have been taken off the band over the last week..
As we are performing we don't always have people able to take pictures of us.. thankfully we are lucky to have the wonderful Paul Bird Photography from Isle of Wight Carnivals at all the carnivals taking pictures of people taking part. Day 2 at Wolverton Manor Garden Fair and the suns out (at the moment) we are here parking cars with the scouts and fundraising all day again with our tombola

What a way to end this year's summer carnival season Ryde Carnival As a band we have taken part in 14 carnivals and done fates, shows and other things in between and all have been fantastic. Tonight the crowd was amazing and was good to see so many friends of the band who we know and probably loads we didn't see.
Tonight we went slightly different to our normal headwear😂😂😂

Thanks go to everyone who has clapped, cheered and joined in with us during our busy summer as it's because of the crowds that gives us the energy to do what we do. ❤️❤️❤️

That’s the last of the “summer” island carnivals done. Thanks for all your support.
The island carnivals may be over, but you can still see us before the year comes to a close. Next up the Island Classic Car Show on Sunday 8th September in Ryde

Tonight is the last Island Carnival of the summer at Ryde Carnival Illuminated Parade … and we think as we had such a great season at other carnivals it's time to let our hair down for the season end at Ryde Carnival 😁
