Here at Grounded we have the pleasure of working with the most incredible people and we count ourselves very fortunate because of that! But that also makes it more difficult to let them go when they grow up and move on with their life. .magill .mcevoy05 both going to University and moving to the different cities, well they already there 😅 you can see Seanan in Belfast and Ruby in Edinburgh (love both cities and be there lots for coffee fro now on 🙈).

Ruby started working with us when she was only 16 (I think 😂, as we don't really remember 'before Ruby' times 😂). This girl was running to work straight after school and always giving 100% of her hard work, love and loyalty to all of us. She is funny and smart, she is an amazing friend and we are so proud of her! She made our life so much easier and brighter 🧡

Seanan there is not one bad thing about him (and trust me, we were trying very hard to think of something 😂). I remember exactly the first day when he came over to work, he knew everything, he was confident, funny, fast, super nice to customers, helpful & he knew how to make delish coffee. And he was like that every single day since. Just the best 🧡

There is not enough space to describe our feelings towards those two! But they have only themselves to blame for leaving at the same time 😜

For about ten years now we have been invited up to as part of their public annual and Christmas coffee morning, essential to raise funds for this amazing facility which services not just our local area, but further afield.

Moving forward we are going to be putting a few of the permanent residents through some coffee training and we look forward to working along side them at the next charity coffee morning.

Thank you to Sister Concilio, sister Sheila and Wendy who not only always make us feel very welcome, but have helped friends, family, and work colleagues on their first steps to recovery.

We dread to think of a society where people like you, and facilities like this do not exist!!
