Job description - Video Production Specialist / Cinematographer Hello, my name is Samuel, and I am delighted about the possibility of welcoming you to our creative media team.

I’ve really enjoyed the pictures everyone has been sharing about the fantastic lights last night. Even more, I love the delight it has brought to so many people.

Here is the cause of last night’s aurora borealis for those wondering. There was a massive solar flare a few days ago, as seen in this recent photo of the sun (photo, not mine). This flare was many, many times larger than the earth. Once it reached us, it interacted with the Earth’s atmosphere to give us the spectacular light show we’ve all been sharing.

Philadelphia, the 6th of the 7 Churches (Rev. 3:7-13). It was an ancient city in Anatolia and now sits beneath the modern town of Alaşehir.

Very little of the ancient town remains to be seen today but for completion, we included it in the itinerary. Modern Alaşehir is built over the site, obscuring most of its antiquities. Some sections of the Byzantine city walls can be seen as can the arches of a 6th Century Byzantine church.

Philadelphia was founded in 189 BC by King Eumenes II of Pergamon. He named the city for the love of his brother and successor, Attalus II. The town was bequeathed to the Romans by Attalus III in 133 BC.
