County Down Site Visit

First time self builders JP and Niamh are delighted with their super energy efficient home. Mark was out visiting last week and took this great picture of their beautiful home in Newry.

Ballina, County Mayo

This week our team was in County Mayo’s Ballina.

This client initially reached out to us regarding the design of one of our sample bungalows. After consulting with him, he made a few tweaks to our plans to suit his needs.
Within 3 days of going to site the timberframe kit is fully erected and the roof felt & lathed ready for tiling! Welldone team KTF 👏🏻

We look forward to getting on with the next stage of Toms build.
Big thanks to his Uncle Jimmy who kept the guys in great crack onsite. He was very impressed with the work as you can see 😁

Site progress: Lifford, County Donegal

We went to site with this timberframe kit in the second week of March this year, and following our site visit last week it was great to see the progress which has been made. The roof covering is complete, windows & external doors installed, airtight system fitted, first fix joinery and blockwork is now complete.
We received a fantastic air tight test result and plaster boarding is taking place this week.

Originally the house was designed with a standard truss. We advised the client to utilise the space he had and we went with an attic truss to create a spacious attic which can be converted in the future if desired.

Great to see our project in Stamullen, County Meath coming on so well.

Pictures show our air tight system installed, with first fix electrical and plumbing complete. We then carried out an air test which achieved an amazing result. Our team of borders then got to work fitting 15mm plasterboard throughout.

One of the many benefits of building timberframe is the speed of construction. You may remember in May we went to site with Ricky & Cherith's kit in Lurgan and they have been keeping us all updated with regular posts on their Instagram page.

Less than 3 months later their first fix services are complete and walls and ceilings are insulated & plaster boarded. They are now ready for internal plastering and the install of their second fix services.

Site progress Lower Lough Erne

Our Kilbroney team have been hard at work and it shows!

With 8 kits now onsite our team have been busy turning dreams into reality for the lucky owners of these stunning super energy efficient homes.
