Delivery Driver
Location: Nationwide

We require a full time driver for our factory on the outskirts of Newry, Co. Down.

Job brief
We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow route and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Collect payments
• Inform on new products and services
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow company regulations and safety standards

Essential Criteria:
• Ability to work as part of a team to achieve set targets
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety in a factory setting
• Must be fully flexible to work hours determined by business needs
• Proven working experience as a delivery driver
• Valid driver’s licence
• Over 25
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Must have good level of spoken English

General admin duties:

Provide general admin to support the business as required.

Manage and monitor emails, respond to queries via email/phone.

Answering telephone, directing calls and taking messages.

Assisting with purchase of stock

Attending management review meetings and taking minutes

General admin duties- filing, photocopying etc.

Requirements:

Confidence in answering phones in a polite manner

Competent in Microsoft office suite

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Good IT skills

Salary to be discussed

Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
