I take so much pride in my work and my reputation, but people can get seriously ill from incorrectly wrapped flowers placed in cakes. This is why I take this so seriously.

I do not allow anyone to tamper with my cakes. Especially with inserting fresh flowers into my cakes.

Alot of flowers are poisonous and are sprayed with pesticides so need to be handled and wrapped correctly ensuring they are food safe.

It doesn't matter if the person is a baker, or the best florist in the country, they still need insurance covering food borne Illnesses and a food/hygiene certificate.

This is why I always ensure flowers are delivered to either myself or the venue before the ceremony so noone else can place them on.

Unfortunately lately, I have had quite a few pictures of cakes coming back to me, and the cake has had flowers moved about or more flowers added once I have set the cake up.

Venues, suppliers and couples, PLEASE prevent anyone from touching the cake once it's set up.

I absolutely love creating these buttercream pearl cakes (even if I keep finding them around my cake room for weeks after making one no matter how many times I've brushed up🤣)

How beautifully breathtaking is this cake?! The combination of a crisp white base with edible gold leaf accents and a bold black satin bow creates a striking contrast that exudes elegance and sophistication. A perfect centerpiece.

A few months back, I was able to create Sinead's wedding cake at a venue that holds such special memories for me as it is where I got married last Autumn. It's wonderful to be able to contribute to someone else's celebration in a place that marked such an important milestone in my own life.

Mr. and Mrs. McKelvey celebrated their wedding at the picturesque Wool Tower in Broughshane, where they opted for a stunning two-tier buttercream cake adorned with classic pearl details. The cake featured a special surprise for the groom, showcasing a nod to his beloved football team, Manchester United, on the back, adding a personal touch to their elegant celebration.

The vibrant display of 60 fluffy fresh donuts, each dipped in creamy white chocolate and adorned with delicate sprinkles of pearls, created a delightful contrast to the cake above, enticing guests with a sweet and tasty treat.
