A lovely finish to the term today, when our staff headed for a ramble in the Mournes.

Everyone had a fantastic morning finished off with tea and sandwiches in the school.

Many thanks to the PE Department for organising the hike.

Farewell Mr Patrick Jordan

From pupil to member of staff, Mr Jordan has just completed his one year placement in the PE Department. He will now return to university to complete his degree.

What a year Patrick has had in St Joseph’s, he has been a fantastic role model to our present pupils, teaching and mentoring them in many aspects of school life.
The staff have enjoyed his time back in St Joseph’s, and wish him the very best in his studies and the future.

Farewells

Today we bid farewell to 3 members of our staff. Thank you to each of them for all their teaching, dedication and support to our pupils. Shaneen Savage (Classroom assistant) is taking a break in preparation for the arrival of her new baby, Niamh McCaffrey takes up a permanent English teaching position in St Catherine’s College, Armagh, and Ann Conlon (Classroom assistant) is continuing her studies on the PGCE course to become a maths teacher.

Mr Murray presented the 3 ladies with flowers as a token of our appreciation.
