Slat wall panel window box fitted with solid Ash. Really transformed that already amazing. Finished with matt osmo oil to bring out the natural grain
Understairs storage fitted yesterday. Made with a solid oak face, veneered oak mdf drawers and carcass and shaker style drawer fronts sprayed with farrow and ball colour railings.
2 alcove units fitted today in Belfast made with 25mm Moisture resistant MDF sprayed classic white. These units are 8ft in height and are still dwarfed in this town house!
Who'd have known pink and corrugated iron mix well! 2 bar tops supplied and fitted for a cracking home bar. Tops made with redwood distressed the Harbour Joinery way and stained with medium oak.
Stair treads and matching electric box, distressed, stained and treated
Looks great loaded with some jack Daniels
Nice way to finish your week even if it was up 2 flights of stairs! Unit made to hold a table top arcade game and some Jack Daniels whiskey, sprayed farrow and ball 'parma grey' veneered ash back and solid ash top with some stunning grain. Handmade ash handle and ash detailed faces on the shelves. Designed by the client, brought to life by rustic abbey.
Solid oak slat wall, deep shelf fronts, new handmade oak skirting, architraves and door frames. About as nice a feature wall as I've ever seen.
How cosy does that corner look. Radiator cover fitted last week and wall paneling fitted before Xmas
Big thanks to Simon at Express & designs Belfast. For supplying stickers for the van and business cards.
Chevron sliding cubby door fitted today sprayed with farrow and ball "railings".
Busy few weeks after the Christmas break turning this shipping container into a brand new coffee shop for . Front counter has to be tiled and window and door to be fitted on site. Side and ceiling have been done with distressed marine ply, front counter made to house a glass display cabinet, solid oak poser bench and a storeroom built in the back. A pleasure again working along side Warren at Harbour Joinery to get this churned out ☕☕
Just been sent a wall paneling job from last year all painted. Love seeing these all painted!
Job completed before Xmas and the start of a home library in a cosy wee nook. Scandinavian redwood and liberon medium oak stain work wonders together 👌
Walnut coffee table with oak legs and an oak bow tie
Unfortunately it's a bit to big for my house or I'd be keeping it, beautiful 👌
Stunning olive ash dining table with chunky 100mm box section legs sprayed black. This brute of a slab is over 1 metre wide in places and started out 3" thick before being flattened down to 2".
10ft iroko worktop supplied and fitted along with 2 tulip legs to support the overhang. Some stunning grain and features in the timber. This will see some serious baking belonging to the very talented if you get a chance try some of her chutney and jams!! A kitchen like that deserves a full time baker or does a full time baker deserve a kitchen like that??
The existing iroko worktop was taken off and hairpin legs onto it and now being used as a coffee table. Love to see some timber being repurposed!
That's the beech table in its new home along with a pair of shelves and a new window sill to match! All finished with fiddes satin hardwax oil, not the usual osmo 😱😱 but very impressed with how fiddes brought the timber up!
How cute does Dexter the cock-a-poo puppy look snuggled up in his new dog cage?? 🐶🐶
Made with solid oak batons stained with medium oak wood dye and a live edge Irish oak top treated with Matt osmo oil.
How good does this wall paneling look all painted?
Bespoke dining table hand made from 2 slabs of spalted beech from a tree fallen naturally in glenarm castle gardens. This piece still needs stained and oiled but it's just to pretty not to share as I've been wanting to build this design from may this year!!
The legs are constructed with mortise and tenon joints and an oak dowel through the tenon for added strength and half lap joint on the tapered cross brace with an oak dowel on the under side. The top is a solid slab with the live edge squared off and a narrow line of dark green epoxy to fill in a crack that ran the length of the table. The edges and corners have been softly rounded.
Beautiful beech mantle fitted today 🥰 client wasted no time in decorating it for Christmas 🎄🎄
Another wall paneled today again with the larger squares. Look forward to seeing these all painted!
Beautiful beech mantle fitted earlier in the week, made from a locally fallen tree. Looking forward to seeing this one decorated for Christmas 🎄
Another style of wall paneling fitted today with larger squares
An offcut of a beautiful burr chestnut slab I picked up today along with 2 spalted beech slabs for a truly bespoke commissioned table in the coming weeks. Slabs all came from trees felled naturally on glenarm castle grounds, milled locally and handmade for special pieces in your home.
Bespoke door nearly ready to go to the sprayer to be sprayed black. Made with 18mm moisture resistant mdf and 22mm tulip strips on the face with will give it a real bold look and to be hung on a sliding rail.
When the fabricator told me what he was planning for this table I wasn't so sure, I thought it would look daft with single legs. I take that back it looks absolutely class! 50mm table table finished with amber osmo oil sat on big chunky 100x100 box section legs. This thing is a brute of a table, very impressed with the outcome
Going mantle in the workshop today, beautiful piece of oak 6x5 and a lovely 7x4 bit of beech machined, sanded and first coat of oil. Both beams were sourced from 2 local sawmills.
