My first ever “set up”. Thanks to everyone for your enquiries about when Sleepy Bunnies will be starting up again. Hopefully we will be able to offer a set of dates in the very near future. If you are interested please drop me a wee message xx

Parenting styles and advice has changed so much over the years. Breast vs bottle, controlled crying, when to wean, immunisations, to swaddle or not swaddle, to co-sleep or not co-sleep. It can be soooo overwhelming but the one thing that has always remained is how important it is to develop a secure attachment. Love creates love. Touch is vital and is the reason why I will always be an advocate for baby massage.

It is a scary thing to become a parent whether that be for the first time or the fourth time. Just remember to breathe , enjoy it, ask for help when you need it and everything else will fall into place. Love creates love x

My 8 year old little girl still loves a wee massage. Never underestimate the importance of touch to soothe, calm, reassure and connect.

Hi everyone,

Sleepy Bunnies has been undertaking new training and been planning lots of lovely ideas and then this virus decides to pay us all a visit !!!

After a bit of thinking and some fab support from my trainer and other baby massage therapists I have been planning online baby massage classes to support new Mums and their families. I have just tested ZOOM which I hope to start using for some online classes and tutorials. Zoom can be downloaded easily on your mobile phone, tablet or laptop. If I manage to overcome my fear of technology and worse still being on screen we will able to see each other and communicate with one another.

I am currently devising a plan for these classes and will update you all when we are ready to commence.

Most babies do not sleep through the night. Establishing a good sleep routine and incorporating a regular predictable massage technique will offer reassurance to your sleepy bunny and induce tranquility to aide longer settled sleep. X

So whilst it looks like all the Bunnies have been sleeping we have in actual fact been very busy. We have been consulting with Mums, Dads, birth families, foster families, adoptive families to try and gain some views and opinions about how we tailor our classes.

It is very clear that one size does not fit all so going forward a few options will be available such as different times, possibly different days and variation in length of course.

Shout out and let me know what days you would like to see us up and running. I would also be keen to hear if maybe two longer class sessions (instead of or as well as five hour long classes) but covering the same teaching would be something of interest.
