the international day on 27 January to remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of other people killed under N**i persecution of other groups and in genocides that followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.💜💜

💜💜27 January marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest N**i death camp.
The Holocaust threatened the fabric of civilisation, and genocide must still be resisted every day. 💜💜

💜💜Our world often feels fragile and vulnerable and we cannot be complacent. Even in the UK, prejudice and the language of hatred must be challenged by us all together we stand. 💜💜

💜💜Tomorrow is Holocaust remembrance day 💜💜

💜💜International Holocaust Remembrance Day or the International Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, is an international memorial day on 27 January that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust, which resulted in the murder of one third of the Jewish people, along with countless members of other minorities by N**i Germany between 1933 and 1945. 💜💜

💜💜27 January was chosen to commemorate the date that Auschwitz concentration camp was liberated by the Red Army in 1945.💜💜

💜💜The day remembers the killing of six million Jews, two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population, and millions of others by the N**i regime and its collaborators. The resolution came after a special session was held earlier that year on 24 January to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the N**i concentration camps and the end of the Holocaust. 💜💜
